Postie has just been received a letter from the Ombudsman regarding a complaint to Capital one credit card ppi. Acknowledgement Thank you for your correspondence, which has been received safely.
We are currently receiving very high volumes of enquiries and it may take upto 4 weeks before we can provide you with a full response.
If you have not heard from us by then please contact us.
    Yours sincerely
    Bryan Forbes.

To be honest i thought it would be at least 5/6 months before i got a response from the ombudsman, hopefully then it should be soon.
Has anyone had the same letter? Thanks in advance x

    Hi
I have had exactly the same letter as you from the FOS for a complaint about Central Trust that was around five weeks ago. I spoke to the FOS on friday and my case is only just moving across to an adjudicator. They told me on friday my case could take nine months to one year.

    I hope this helps ;)

    Thanks Di,

and thankyou for your continuous advice and support along the way :A
I'm sure I will be needing it again in the very near future! :D

Still awaiting outcomes with Barclaycard and Capital One but didn't submit my complaints until end of May so I expect to be waiting a while. Although I just looked at my last letter from Capital One and I was due to hear from them today. I'm not holding my breath with them though after the way they have been behaving lately!! :(

    With pleasure honey x:A
And that's fine, you know where to find us lol :D;).

Hope you hear some good news soon, they will be winners, I'm sure of it x

Hi that's ok and sorry if your question have been missed.

The 8% is automatically included normally, but it can differ from loan to credit card x;)
