I do hope they will send info pre 2006, they should do I think.;)

That would be a big help to you wouldn't it? x:);)
    :(

    It certainly would!!

Although...suspect that if expedient for them, they won't be able to "find" it.....:( x

How long has your claim been with M&S and how do you know your at stage 2 I am curious as there is not much info on the forums about M&S and I have just had 16 week letter and wondered at what stage they are at with the backlog.

Nothing from postie except bills!:( Agh well maybe tomorrow, the site will crash because that many of us are sharing our good news with each other.

I sent my M&S claim away at the beginning of June 3rd I think, also sent away a storecard claim a couple of weeks ago but have yet to have an acknowledgement on that one!

Email sent to MD of HSBC. Now lets wait an see what happens.

I think even with the extended time limits the banks will still not have all JR dealyed claims dealt with by end of August.

Sorry to put a dampener on things but you will not get an email reply from HSBC other than to say it has been referred to the appropriate department.

Then in a couple of days you'll get a generic letter in the post saying they will write to you once their investigations are completed.

Happened to me earlier this week I'm afraid, and my claim has been with them since October 2010.
Its amazing how these banks can't even do simple calculations correctly..............

Hi all I'm being a bit dippy but can anyone tell me what you get when you send a sar request? Sent one to santander for burtons for my other halfs ppi and they saying they have nothing and don't need to do anything about it as the account was closed in 2005, am really mad with them as they're not helpful in the slightest!! Also having the same problems with mint and sygma even though these weren't closed until 2006!! Grrrr, give it up and admit you are at fault already instead of driving us all mad!!

My GF has just called me to say that I have had success with my HSBC credit card ppi reclaim.

I only had the card for 9 months, but the PPI plus interest means a refund of £200 + quid.

Better than a kick in the teeth.

Just hope that the HBOS claims are whoppers :rotfl:

    Hi there

And hey your not being dippy so no worries there lol.:D

If they are unable to send anything at all they must return your payment with a letter to explain.
But they should send data going back from the last 6 years at least, so basically 2005 on, some are more lenient than others, but as long as you have the account numbers you can still make a reclaim.;)
