They didn't reply to my Email just sent a letter to me saying I refer to your recent e-mail sent to Antonio Horta-Osorio on 15th July regarding your payment protection insurance mis-sale allegation on the above Halifax loan.
Your e-mail has been forwarded to me as an experienced case handler.
I can confirm that since the outcome of the Judicial Review was known we have been working towards putting into place procedures to deal with PPI complaints. The complaints will be worked in date order, the oldest being worked first, this is in keeping with treating all our customers fairly.
I can confirm we now have up to 16 weeks to resolve complaints received from 6th May 2011. This is in line with the specific requirements that the FSA have published for the handling of PPI Complaints. Your Complaint will be dealt with as quickly as possible, but if you have any further questions regarding this please contact us on 0845 601 4034, we will be happy to help.

Has anyone had the same letter? As im curious to know if i will have to wait the full 16 weeks. Thanks in advance x
I would imagine you will have to wait for the majority of the 16 weeks.
I am in 11 now having sent mine 12 May and I have been told that they are still compiling information to help them review the case.
Hopefully that means that it is so difficult to calculate my enormous redress :rotfl:computerbuddy wrote: »Hope the postie comes today and post something really nice through my nicely polished letterbox. Good luck all and hope we all get some good news today! I figure most will get news today cos if letters are sent out to us on Monday's 2nd post then we should receive them today. Here's to wishing anyway. Lol xxxxxxx
