  • Natwest Loan

I have a Loan with the above and have added to it over the years twice.

Can I claim the PPI back to the orignal date I opened the agreement or do I have to accept the final agreement from about 6 years ago.

I still have two of the signed agreements and the first one (or middle on) doesn't offer a get out section it just states the amount I owe, the amount I wish to borrow and the PPI.
The second (or last one) does detail a seperate note that briefly states whether I opted out or not, but doesn't show any tick boxes to opt out and I wasn't given the option by the assistant.

Hopefully this entitles me to make a claim all the way back to when I first starting paying the loan, could anyone give any confirmation?

    Hi there

I've just had success with Natwest involving a consolidation chain (3 loans) going back to 1997.

My advice is go for it if it was mis-sold and keep at them via emails to CEO until you beat them into submission.... That's what I did :j

had no letters yet but in my bank this morning was from the FSCS was £2818.07, guess the 1 phone call and a form filling can't be bad, just hope my pre 2005 claim comes and my natwest one also not long to wait.

Thanks for the help so far guys

    That's fab, well done :T & Congratulations:beer:

hi there has anybody had anything back from nemo im waiting on our cheque but theyve sent it to our old address after being told not to send it there countless number of times aaaarrrggghhhhh, just been told one story then another one

I read that someone else has a reclaim with them, but are only about to make a start with them, I remember I had to keep chasing up mine, as they made us wait about 2 almost 3 months before receiving the cheque.
Maybe you could contact/email the CEO of Nemo, I cannot remember who this is or was when I had the loan with them, but if I track it down I will post it up, the best of luck and well done on your success!

    Hi
I'm a little excited, I just got an e-mail from lloyds saying they have sent me a letter. I hope the will be an offer. Could any body tell me if they have received anything like this and what was the outcome. FINGERS CROSSED!!

    Hiya
It most likely to be an offer/upheld in your favour, I'm sure of it, mine was resolved some weeks back now, but have since found more with them to make a reclaim on, will be waiting a while before a decision is made though due to the backlogs and extra time given.
Fingers crossed and hope you receive that letter of success in the post very soon x;)

Thanks for that, since writing this I spoke to MBNA about why it taking so long and the lady was so very apologetic and understood my concerns.....Yeah Yeah Yeah, anyway I told here I first made my complaint on 14th May and nearly 10 weeks on I still haven't even got close to an offer. She told me to send the Questionnaire in and she would get on to it next week with a view to getting me there final offer, but couldn't give dates as they are so busy. SHE HAS TILL THE END OF NEXT WEEK!

I have had the card for approx 12 years and recently been paying £35.00 a month for PPI, hopefully a good pay out is due! Fingers Crossed!

    Hiya

I know it's annoying, especially after going through the efforts of doing the letter before that, but I'm sure you will get a good outcome out of this.
    Fingers crossed.;)
