    Thanks Di
Any idea if it's possible to try using the claim templates or sending an email with the limited info I have?
I don't mind going down the SAR route if not.
I have the dates of first payments made and the amount they took each month, plus the total amount of the loans each.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hiya

Any information you have will be a help in regards of making a reclaim, it strange that they say to us customer's they are unable to find the paperwork, and when it comes to reclaiming they suddenly find it.

You could email a letter, but maybe its best to complete the reclaim questionnaire as on step 3 just to cover yourself, as some have been sending letters to make a reclaim then its stalled by the banks by them sending out the questionnaire's.

Of course if you still want to do the SAR that is up to you, you can still do so whilst your making a reclaim, you do not have to wait for the info, but if anything interesting comes back later on, you then have this for proof to them if required. x;)

    Well done Mandy1cat, brilliant posting.

Is this right about taking off 20% tax as well, wasn't there posts about this before as it's not income?

I have five RBS complaints in starting about the same level as your first one and ending abou thalf of your big one, hoping I get as good a pay out as yours.
Thanks to all the competition posters.

    Hi all,
Further to my uphold letter received by LLoyds TSb last week with regard to my credit card, can someone out there explain how they have broken down the figures?

Our proposed offer has been calculated as follows:

1/ We've reconstructed what the balance of your credit card account would have been without PPI, by removing any PPI premiums and any interest or charges in respect of those premiums. This totals -£2,219.38

2/ We've calculated the difference between the actual current balance and the revised balance, totaling £4,916.45

3/ If that produces a credit balance for any period, we then include credit interest on that balance for the relevent period at the rate of 8% simple interest per year, totaling £335.29

    Total proposed offer = £5,251.74

At the time of my complaint, the balance on the C/C would have been approx -£3,000.
I'm very happy with the offer, but just a bit confused as to how..

    Thanks to all..
