thats great news for you, just wondering if you can help me, i have a complaint in with natwest for a credit card ppi from 25th of may and i was wondering if you had their contact email address so i can try and ask for an update on my case.
im really peed off with natwest as at the same time i went into my local branch to clear my balance (was over £5000) off and cancel the card. the bank worker did this for me but what he failed to do was to notify me that i had to cancel my ppi myself. what happend next was that i have been charged two months ppi premium and a late payment fee for not paying it even though i thought my account was closed and asked the bank worker to cancel the card in may lol. thanks, Dyfed0 -
Just wanted to share my good news and say thanks a lot to Martin Lewis - this site is fantastic.
Just a couple of weeks ago I used the recommended template (questionnaire) to try and claim a refund from Cahoot for a loan I took out in 2004. To be honest I thought I would have to put up a fight because of the date etc.
The initial loan was for £6000 but I am self employed so couldn't have claimed apparently on the payment protection insurancer part.
Cahoot (Santander) have today made an offer to return all the premiums for the PPI (£689) plus £260 interest - without any quibble!!
HAPPY DAYS!!!! :j
If you are wondering whether to claim or not - GO FOR IT!! It is your money anyway.
Good luck.0 -
To those who asked.
I rang the customer service line at Egg and said I wanted to make a complaint about PPI, lady took details, explained I would receive full pay if ill and insurance was irrelevant
I contacted them both about 4 weeks ago0 -

Hi - just been having a sort out to see where I am with all my claims and I have realised that I havent heard from the following:
Nat West - sent FOS questionnaire off on 16.6.11. after I initially sent it off in April with no account number on but they returned it stating that they needed the account number details. They then sent me all my statements for past 6 years (the account had been open longer than that). I havent heard a thing since.
Barclay Loan - sent SAR letter off on 21.6.11 but no response as yet.
AA Loan - now this is really getting annoying. I originally sent off the FOS form back in April 2011 to the Co-op, I was under the impression that Co-op was AA Loans. A very helpful lady from Co-op rang me and (to cut a long story short) said she would send everything off to whom she believed was AA loans when we took it out, she said it was HBOS and sent me the details of who she sent it all off to. I heard nothing so sent off a letter to this person explaining everything, only to get a letter back, dated 27 June 2011 saying that she had sent it to the relevant department, but I have not heard anything since.
All the above are now starting to annoy me. Can anyone advise what to do next with them please?0 -

Thanks for your reply.
They are both settled. Just realised on the littlewoods one i sent it from me but gave OH card number
Thanks for the link, I'm really not sure if either had ppi. Shall I fill in the forms anyway and see what they say or send of the £10. for all records???
I am reclaiming 2 with MBNA as well got an email last friday to say they are looking into it for me, probabley won't here for a while though.
Just logged onto MBNA credit cards and the credit limits have been reduced from £1500 and £9000 to £500 and £1000. Is this because I have started to claim or because I have just paid them both off.0
