PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

I called them yesterday as letter didn't really say what happens and I was expecting there to be some sort of acceptance form to complete (like have with other complaints) but they told me that the money had just been put in my account....over the moon and thankyou so much to everyone on this site!!

Basically, they acknowledged my complaint and my email.

Then mentioned the usual 16 weeks spiel.

That they would attend to my complaint at the earliest possible time.

But most importantly, I was given the name of the complaint handler and a direct dial number to reach her.

I rang to check it was and she told me that she will keep me informed at every oppurtunity, ie when there is any news about the complaint.

My next update will be on the 1st August, as she is on holiday until then.

Assuming I don't get an answer before she gets back.
