    Hiya

with it being front loaded, you do have a stronger case, as they do not sell these type of policies any longer.
I think you will be fine.;)

Oh i do hope so di, since i have spoke to you & amersall today i am sooo excited!! I am hoping by them saying it was getting signed off today/tomorrow means that something is in the pipeline....surely it would not needed signed off if they were turning me down?? I really don't know..but if excitement could win me the money back..i should be a millionaire!!ha, thanks again & i will keep you posted on the outcome...thank you :j xx

    Hello there

Sorry about the rejection, but I feel maybe Dunstonh and/or MagpieCottage may be able to help on this one.

With it being Mortgage PPI, I have posted a new thread where you can post this below, title it something "Mortgage PPI", its still within the ppi reclaiming threads, but then you will get the right help on this, good luck.

:j:j, what annoys me, well which is another reason really to complain, is that with these type of policies, they sometimes only last for 5 years, but say for example the loan term was 10 years or more, we would still have to pay for the ppi within the loan but not protected for the remainder of the loan term .

Still with them being front loaded, it should be a successful reclaim. xx

Your welcome.;) No pun intended lol.:D;)

Unfortunately mine is still going on, my broker who sold the loan Click Finance dissolved in 2006, but when I taken out the secured loan in 2004 they were not regulated by the FSA, the lender Endeavour, and the insurer - Hamilton.
Its been rather complexed and it will be 3 years almost its been within the FOS.

However, I did read some success not long ago on here - Aviva the underwriter/insurer and sure yours will not take as long, it didn't help with mine because at first I could not find all the appropriate documents, and I have now, it could have been resolved sooner I think otherwise, but keep yours going you will get there.:)

Oh bless you Di, here are you giving advice and you've been waiting years yourself....good things come to those who wait is my moto!! We have had a PPI complaint with Halifax in at the FOS for 19 months now..it was heard and in Halifax's favour, so just waiting for it to be looked at again by an ombudsman..i dont hold out much hope but i will have everything crossed for you!! :D xx

Oh hope so mrs!! It's terrible...it's extortion - that is what i put in my letter!! It's strange as at the time i didn't even think about that...it shouldn't be allowed!! I am hoping they will give me a refund and restructure the loan...do you think that is what would happen if i was successful?
I have left you a message on ellemae's blog, as i thought it was you saying you have waited 3 years with the FOS...i haven't got the hang of this yet but i soon will!! xx

    Thank you for your reply.

    I'm still confused though :(

I took a loan out for £10K in 2001 (£2300 PPI charged). Then in 2003 I took out a consolidated loan for £22700 (£5455 PPI charged)

My accounts went into arrears and I now pay via CCCS. I assumed that if found in my favour I would get the two PPI amounts totalling £7755 plus the statutory 8% (£620.40) refunded to my outstanding loan, thus wiping £8375.40 off my balance?

    Is this not correct?
Did you consolidate the first loan into the second or are they seperate loans?.

You only get ppi that you have paid to date back,so depending on when your account was passed over, this would be the date from which you would not have contributed a lot to the ppi.

The loans will be reset thereby taking the total ppi off both loan balances, so they will reduce by that amount, the ppi you have paid to date will be refunded with interest and as you are in arrears this will come off your balances also.

This week the 8 weeks is up for my NRAM claim and we haven't heard anything so I gave them a ring and they said our complaint is still in head office and it is still in the 8-12 week period so i'll give them another 4 weeks to contact us with hopefully good news :D.

The NRAM claim successes seem to have gone quiet lately after a run of them

OMG!!! Letter from NRAM dropped through my door this morning.

Claim upheld to the tune of £6,089.71 :j:j:j

I am over the moon. Dh worked it out to about £5k so this is even better

We haven't been abroad for 6 years so a trip to the travel agents is job number 1.

Thank you to everyone on here :T:T:A:A
