    Thanks Di :)

I did think it sounded like it is going to be upheld as it is with the calculations team but didn't want to sound thick and ask her! Lol :D

Yes I can understand her point exactly. She was the most helpful person from Halifax that I have spoke to in the past 7 months. At least I know now that they are looking into my complaints and they aren't still sitting in a pile waiting to be looked at! :D

So just wait for that letter in the post now then :D:j, it defo sounds promising in my opinion, hope you will not be waiting much longer. x;)

It took a while to complete all of the paperwork but with the templates provided on this website I managed to get a refund from Egg loans. The loan had been running for a number of years but when I was taken seriously ill the insurance would not pay out due to me being self employed. Egg have credited my loan account with £1286.00 and sent me a cheque for a further £5000.00.

It may seem difficult and tedious at times to complete the paperwork but if I was being paid on an hourly rate I just earned myself around £800 per hour.
Huge thanks to Martin and the team at money saving expert!:money:

Great work, welll done to you!:T:j & Congratulations!

Yes it was the lovely Nerys, she was so helpful and told me what I wanted to know and what i've been asking all along but no-one else would give me any answers. :)

Did she push for yours to get resolved? :D

Yes she did! She made promises and kept them - a rare thing from the banks!!! AND she actually sounded happy telling me I'd won!

When I finally get my pennies I will write to CEO to tell him to get Nerys to train the other staff and give her the recognition she deserves. She is the positive face of BOS/Lloyds banking.

I've just received this email from Natwest/RBS in response to my email requesting he live up to the 10 day response promise he made on 9th June.

I have been advised that our response should be sent to you by the end of the week, including further comments on the rebate. (rebates of £1.75 & £4.12 for cancelled PPI which I am, in fact, still paying).

I appreciate some time has passed since you first contacted us. I'm sorry for the delay and for the stress this has caused you. (Don't remember saying I was stressed lol)

Thank you for your continued patience.

    Yours Sincerely

Does this sound positive??? Or am I just in cloud cuckoo land? It's been with them since last November. I do hope so as my boiler has packed up and need to finance a new one. If they are repaying I will have a warm feeling inside and hot water on the outside....:rotfl::rotfl:

Lets hope I don't have to wait too long ;)
I don't mind waiting (well a little while anyway) if I know it's been upheld, it's when you are waiting for the decision that I can't stand! :(
Hopefully my other 2 with Halifax will be successful too. Fingers crossed :D

Thanks for all your help Di and everyone else :j

That sounds promising that I should hear from her with an update when she gets back from her holiday then :)
She is great, if only they were all like her :D
When I emailed the CEO a couple of weeks ago I requested to be contacted by email because I work in a Hospital and long hours so I end up missing their calls. Halifax never did email me, but I had a phone call the other Sunday from a very nice lady at Halifax Customer Services saying they don't have access to external email so she thought she would try ringing me on the off chance on a Sunday. That was Nerys who rang me then, she told me today. Bless her, no-one else would make that effort. :D
