    Hiya Nanna

Yes there have been several to what I am aware of.

You basically pursue the head office or if they have a complaints dept you send your reclaim questionnaire to them.
Step 3 below - takes you to the required questionnaire to make a reclaim, make sure you keep copies as well, good luck.

:money:I just wanted to say that I have just recieved a letter from the HSBC bank after speaking to them yesterday...... they have offered a full and final settlement of the whole loan plus interest paid... OVER £3,500 for my daughter...Woo Hoo, even tho they said they did not agree with the reasons for my claiming in the first place, BUT I do not care, those words say it all....... now my daughter can sleep tonight knowing they are paying back what I see as money that was rightfully hers in the first place.
Thankyou to Everyone on this site who offer their experiences and advise I would buy you all a drink........ CHEERS

    Hi Amersall,
Thanks very much for the link to Santander that you gave me,but before I phone them,do you think there is anything that i should avoid saying on my initial call,I don't want to comprimise my chances of any claims.
As you can tell, this is my first time at this, and I feel a little nervous that I will say the wrong thing!!!
    Thanks again
    Steve

    Hi Steve

What is the reason you want to ring them if you don't mind me asking?

I understand some have tried making reclaims by ringing, but otherwise if its in regards of a reclaim, you can do this by completing the reclaim questionnaire, and keep copies for your evidence, and in case you need to go back to this again.
    Good luck.

brilliant news, well done you must be thrilled :)

I sent my HSBC letter in September, but still nothing yet, getting more and more impatient, but trying not to... rung them a number of times and still told that I'm part of the queue. Trying to remain calm about it.

    Hi Amersall,
Thanks very much for your advice, fortunately the only paperwork that survived the mass shreading were bank statements,so should be no problem hunting out completion dates etc. well here goes .... nothing ventured nothing gained...hopefully!! Thanks again
