  • hi guys not posted for a while I wondered if you can help me.

I started a claim with hamilton brady in November. Then they were postponed til they won the case etc but ive heard nothing at all from the bank at all just a few letters from HB. I signed and sent back the last one which was to the financial oboundsman just before the case was won v the banks.

HB instructed me to only accept full payment and interest. I had a letter from the bank saying they had been trying to get hold of me so I returned the call today only to be offered another loan!

TSB is the bank. Pretty skint at the moment so was wondering if anyone could give me encouragement or advise what the next course of action is.

hopefully its  in very soon.

    thanks in advance

    Hello there

    Is that a claims company?

When/what date was the last time you heard from the company?

We don't have a great deal to do with claims companies on here as such even though some have used them, so not sure on how their procedures work.
I have not heard of that actual company before, but if your getting problems with delays going on far too long maybe you could contact the Claims Regulation (MOJ) Ministry of Justice who may know more of the business and may advise you on your next best action from here in regards of the claims company.

Have you also tried contacting the bank directly yourself as well?

See if they can update you, hope you hear something soon, good luck.

I got a letter from HB last week saying only accept full offer as the banks are savinf millions by hastily accepted offers.

I am not sure to be honest, but when i emailed Lloyds for updates I only provided the case ref claim numbers but not any other details.;)

  • hi everybody came on here appox 6 weeeks ago for some advice about reclaiming ppi from an old welcome account which had been paid off. Spoke to fscs who eventually directed me to the FOS as my account was an old one. They advised me to put in a claim to the insurence provider. Forms came very quickly and were filled in and sent back. Last week i recived a letter from aviva to say my claim had been upheld and today £4011 was credited to my bank account. I would just like to say a big thank you for the advice and to tell everybody not to give up as i did not think i stood a chance of claiming this back.

That is absolutely wonderful, :T Congratulations:beer:
Especially when it comes to the insurer/underwriter paying out, well done!:T

I'm having complications with mine, its been with the FOS since 2009 but going on for about a year before that, with the company (broker) dissolved in 2006, I also went the insurer direction as suggested by the FOS but despite me sending in evidence the adjudicator is unable to find any connections, however its still ongoing but the FOS are now trying with HFC who were actually involved as well - when the loan was sold to us.
