Phoned, MBNA who said i needed proof of my employment from the tax office, phoned tax office who said their records didn't go back beyond 2005, but they'd put a request into archives. so thought i may as well send an e-mail to MBNA using the wording from your letter. Got an e-mail back today less than 3 weeks later and without the tax office getting back to me.

hi every1...to cut a long story short, started my claim in dec 2009, adjudicator ruled in my favour in dec 2010 but ge money appealed against the decision :( june 2011 and still heard nothing from the ombudsman

my question is does anyone know how long the appeal process takes?
    Thanks

    Hi there

I would contact the FOS at least once a month to ask for updates, you should not be waiting as long as you did when waiting to be passed on to the first adjudicator, and I am aware because of this, the ombudsman should also award if also came to the same decision as the adjudicator, a further redress payment for inconvenience and distress, hope you hear something soon, fingers crossed.;)

And still have one case ongoing though which is complexed and in with the FOS and have been going on since 2008 but will keep fighting :T:beer:
