Hi, i have had this response today from natwest after complaining i havent received a confirmation letter off them.

Thank you for your email of 5 June 2011, addressed to Stephen Hester. I am sorry you have found cause to complain. We aim to resolve this for you as soon as we can.

After reading your letter, I have arranged for a manager from our PPI Team to investigate your complaint and, to ensure that you get a full response. I have asked for a copy of the response so I can be sure that we've handled your complaint correctly. You will hear further from my colleague within 10 working days.

If, you have not had a response by this time, please contact us and we will take matters forward on your behalf.

    Yours sincerely

    Scot McLellan

    Group Customer Relations

    I hope this helps:)

Looking good, and it seems because you been in touch with the CEO, they are now moving this on quicker for you.
    Fingers crossed.;)

    Hi,

I have had a look through my credit report and found i had a visa card with the Halifax from 2002 to 2005. I have phoned them and must of spoken to at least 10 people.
Will i have any chance reclaiming the PPI from this with it been so long ago and if so does anyone have the correct number to speak to Halifax about it as i have had no joy. Or even a postal address where i can send my first letter.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

if you have the account number you should be ok, this seems to be the new trend with all the banks to just say you dont excist and hope your go away!:(

Right have a read here, (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-credit-card-insurance#step3)
then download the consumer questionnaire have a read though it then see what info you have and need and fill it in x.

Not sure of the address you need but someone will be along soon that does:D

    Hi Matty :D

I do not have the direct email for HFC as the one I used is no longer live, but I do have an address.

    HFC Bank Ltd
    Camden House West
    The Parade
    Birmingham
    B1 3PY

But for direct complaints I checked on the HFC website and have this one here:

    HFC Bank Limited,
    PO Box 5207,
    Coventry,
    CV3 9FB

    http://www.hfcbank.co.uk/html/payment_insurance.html

Up to now, if its the same company, there is a tel no for GM card below link.

    Thanks Di.

I have just rang them(Tel no 0121 214 5577 - PPI complaints handling dept),to be put on hold while they checked my file and was then told that my claim is on hold due to the JR.Now thats over they will be re-investigating my claim but cannot put a timescale on when this will be.
I asked if this would be days, weeks, months or years and he couldnt tell me.
    Frustrating to say the least.

Not sure how I can push this one along.....I could email MD of HSBC again I suppose as they own HFC/GM and this has prompted action in the past.
