Well done that's a great result! Do you mind me asking when you took the loans out?

    Yes, no problem.
All 3, that I sent a complaint about, were at different occasions over the last 5-7 years. The Santander (abbey at the time) loan was taken out in 2005 over 7 years.

    Hello all.
I have been following without posting for long enought...until now!
After listening to your advice, I decided to send off the template letter to reclaim PPI on 3 loans. That was 2 weeks ago...to my astonishment, today, I received a letter from Santander offering me a full PPI premium refund plus 8%. Giving me a grand total of £2842.80.
I cannot thank you all enough for the help you have given me throught his website. I am getting married this year and now we can actualy afford a honeymoon. I cant stop smiling.:D
    Chris.

Fantastic news all round, :T:j Congratulations!

Thanks! Just did equinox credit check and managed to get details of loans going back to 1998! Made scary reading but now have all info to write to all companies and see how far we get! We have one in for Halifax -waiting response from them. Now going to spend weekend writing to others to see which ones we had ppi on. Think it will be most because we always thought it would help get the loans!!!;)

    You need to post here
the date the loan started and finished, what was the ppi total how long was the loan over, and if you settled early.
I am sure that Marshallka or Robbedof will help you with these when they come on.

    Thank you :j

The first payment was January 2002 and the last May 2008, I am not sure whether their was a fixed term as it was for mortgage payment protection which we paid on a monthly basis.

Well good luck with those. I hope it goes as well for you as it did me. Today is the best day I've had in the last few years, and I still feel like I'm going to wake up soon!! I hope you feel that way soon.
I'll keep you posted on the other 2.
    And to Di :A....thank you.
