Yes no doubt i have, i didnt keep any of the paperwork as when a loan got paid up or finished the paperwork was shredded so figures i have no idea of!
I was mis-sold in so many ways! i think almost all of these!! the best one was that i needed it due to only being 17 and it was my 1st ever loan, aswell as being sold at the same time as the loan and ppi a separate insurance for accident, sickness and unempolyment!! so i was double f****d over!
but due to that separate insurance and still having it today i really didnt need the ppi on every other loan! hows that for mis-selling and having your pants pulled down at the same time!
Lloyds Tsb you've got to love'em:mad::mad:
Exactly the same situation as my own mate - young, inexperienced and taken advantage of. However if you ever did want to persue it it's just a matter of ringing them up, giving them your name and address at the time the loans were taken out and they will send you a copy of the agreements.0 -

thanks mate:D
I have only just become aware of the mis-selling of ppi and with this sites and Di advice ive sent off my questionnaire compliant forms this week to Lloyds. But in the begining they had no account info for me. I had to bully the info from them in my local branch. Which is leading me to believe they may be black horse loans? although they couldnt find me when i phoned them too. All i know is 3 were gold account service loans and the other two fixed rate personal loans:cool:
again young and clueless, just older now:rotfl::D:p Perfer et obdurai dolor hic tibi proderit olim

Hiya
What I done was write to the lender, and ask them to send me the policy booklet details of the insurer/underwriter, as this is not always enclosed with the loan docs when you receive them and normally requested for when required.
When mine arrived I wrote to them (mine is Hamilton by the way), even though they rejected - the FOS have taken it on.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi All,
Can someone help me out please? I'm new to this forum and looking for some advice. I have been using a reclaiming company for PPI on various loans and credit cards (Unfortunately for me I didnt do my homework before hand -as I would never have used them if I knew how easy it was to do it myself). I'm at the stage where I've received letters from the company saying that the credit card companies are requesting that they take my claim to the FOS. My question is can I stop using this reclaiming company and continue the claims with the FOS myself? The reclaiming company is looking for more signatures etc to continue my claim...please help. Thanks.0 -

Hi all,
My first post so please be gentle!!!
I took a loan out with First Plus in 2007 for £10000.
Wrote to them in November and asked to claim PPI back I received a few letters from them, final one in Feb saying that my complaint was put on hold and"i hope this brings this matter to a end"
Ive wrote to Financial ombudsman and asked them to take on my case and have received a letter back saying they will be in touch in due course due to the level of complaints they receive could take some time.
With the result of the banks removing the hold on claims should i carry on and stick it out with the ombudsman or can I now write back to First Plus?
Sorry to be so long winded but it all gets confusing!!
TIA

Hi there & welcome
If this is passed on to the FOS, it will be left in their hands to deal with, but no harm in contacting the FOS regularly to ask for updates.
I assume the FOS have taken on your complaint? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
It doesnt actually say in the letter whether they have taken on my complaint it says my correspondence has been received safely and they are currentlt receiving very high volumes of enquiries and will provide me with a full response as soon as possible?
Having never done this before im not sure!0
