Just wanted to thank MSE for its advice as we have had a result!

After reading through the forum and using the template letters our claim was upheld last year. We were informed that it would take 3 months to process the payment, which we thought was excessive. However we held out and yesterday our bank account was £2656 better off.

    THANK YOU MSE!

    Fantastic result. Well done.:T:T

    Hi everyone

I had an Egg loan for over 13 years and had an insurance payment scheme attached to it. After reading through the information on this website, I contacted Egg and started the process to reclaim the insurance. After going through the process online, I sent off my forms to Egg and received a letter saying they were looking into my complaint.

After 2 months and a few letters from Egg (stating they were investigating my complaint), I received a cheque for £9,700! This has enabled me to pay off my remaining Egg loan! Yippeeeee!

I advise anyone to go through the guide on here and stick with it, patience pays off in the end! :j Thank you Moneysavingexpert.com!

    Brilliant, well done and congratulations.:T:T:T

Seems Egg are taking a bit of a hammering at the moment. Marvellous:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

  • I have recently received a full payment for mis sold PPI from welcome finance after one year of solid battling, many many letters and serveral phones to the point of threating court action every time. the financial obudsman I have to say were useless!!!!
This victory to a full on personel battle and well worth it when I received over £3500 in my account and my arrears cleared as well as my monthly payment lowered due to no more PPI on the payments, anyone who has dealings with scummy company and it's useless staff will certainly appreciate how difficult this battle has been - if you are in a battle with who ever, do not lose heart battle them and get what is owed!!!! :j:T:beer:

  • I have recently written to my bank requesting for my original loan agreement details.

Today i received a reply stating that they have misfiled my loan agreement and despite searching their records were unable to locate these.

They have however provided a statement supplying some information regarding the agreement.

What should be the response to this letter?

    Regards
