Have received an offer from Santander regarding a loan that I had PPI on for a year before I cancelled it. Offer is for £689 which includes 8% interest, am assuming that their figure is correct! Will be accepting it today.
    So far successes:
    £260 - Natwest
    £760 - Natwest
    £689 - Santander

    Thanks for you help!

    Well done!

Success with Liverpool Victoria, one letter and one week later an offer for the full amount plus interest! Two loans from 2002 and 2004
The victims we know so well
    They shine in your eyes
    When they kiss and tell
    Strange places we never see
    But you're always there
Like a ghost in my dream

    Well done Carol.

With my experience of these, they were the easiest and dealt with mine within just a few short weeks.

    Congratulations!

This varies from bank to bank, some on here have had ppi back from loans in the 90s.
(me included). How long ago was this ppi and what are your reasons for mis sell?.

    SUCCESS!

1 letter sent to Egg 2 weeks ago, reclaiming PPI on an old credit card. Refunded £128.31 today with no fuss and no chasing.

Worth the small effort of sending a letter.

hi guys, i posted on here last week and after advice from folks on this forum decided to claim back ppi. now im doing the letters from the templates im wondering, should i keep it as the letter or should i put that im writing to them for a copy of the agreement because i didnt know i had ppi untill the bank got in touch with me (to say they could save us money on our loan due to having payment protection!) and also that i was not given a policy no. or any paperwork whatsoever. do i state my full situation and facts from the outset? really appreciate some advice.

Hi there, all you need to do is write a letter to the company requesting your credit agreement, enclose £1 and send it recorded, but if you have the account number, just put in a claim for mis sell, as the bank have told you that ppi is on there, do not waste time waiting for the credit agreement (still request this , as you will know how much the ppi was) when you can send your mis sell letter in now.
