Hi new here and just wanting to tell my (short) story of claiming ppi back.

    My loan is with Welcome.

I filled in the ppi questionnaire in October 2010.

I chased them up a few times.

On 22nd February 2011 I got £11423.38 paid into my bank, and I'm very very happy, paid of my debts and will paid for our wedding!!

So it does work just keep trying!

    Cheers

    Michael

    Well done Michael, great work!

Your template certainly worked for me. I was able to reclaim £1500 back from Lloyds TSB for PPI insurance mis-sold in branch for a loan I had with them, they hadn't even told me it was included when the loan was taken out and it was no good to me as I already had cover anyway. I didn't have to do anymore than this .... they obviously knew they were in the wrong !!

Well done to you too, good one!

    Hi all

Well....still waiting for the ombudsman to get to my husbands complaint with Lloyds regarding his cc PPI. The wait is awful, it has nearly been 2 years since we first complained. I wonder how much longer it is going to take? The FOS are just busy so that is the response we normally get when asking for an update. It is just very frustrating how Lloyds stalled this one....please someone tell me how long the wait is likely to be?!
    Thank you :)

    Hi Naomi

So sorry to hear your still waiting.
When was the last time you received an update from the FOS?

hi everyone, just looking for a bit of advice. I am helping my daughter pursue a claim for ppi on an evans store card. She first got in touch with genworth finance but heard back from them that it was santander that she needed to deal with

    Hi there

Hi there, that is probably correct, as it being a store card, my son even though he was sold a store card with insurance, he had to make the reclaim to GE Money.

When it comes to loans/credit card ppi etc, that is when you pursue the ones who set the account up.

I would therefore pursue the reclaim to Santander, good luck with this.;)

Sorry lol, just sent post by mistake before I had finished. She rang santander today and they had a note on file that she had made a complaint to genworth. They then said the usual thing "It was on your statement so you knew about it". They said she should contact the ombudsman. I told her to send a copy of the consumer questionaire to santander then contact the ombudsman. Is there anything she should do
