They have 8 weeks to reply to you, what they did was sent me a letter saying that it wasn't mis-sold and offered me a good will gesture of £750, this is to fob you off, once you get that letter, you can then send your complaint to the FSO and they will look into it

Be WARNED, this takes a long long time, I started my complaint on 11/3/09 and it was only now that my complaint has been resolved

I wish you all the very best and I hope you are successful in your fight

thanx very much for your help i've done quite a few claims with other companys and i'm willing to wait hopefully be well worth it

    Hi all.

    ....
Here are the results so far...LloydsTSB have upheld the claim from my loan as it was added automatically when I applied for the loan online. They have yet to get back to me about the Credit Card claim. I'm assuming they're putting it off due to the current situation with the courts. And Santander have declined my claim. Here are the particulars of each:

    LLOYDSTSB CREDIT CARD PPI
    · MSE questionnaire sent to LLoydsTSB 09/09/2010
    · Acknowledgement letter received 18/09/2010 dated 15/09/2010
    · Letter received 08/11/2010 – no decision made yet – still investigating......

Just wanted to update you. Managed to speak to LloydsTSB about my credit card PPI and they have decided to uphold my claim :T

Apparently they sent me the letter dated 12th Jan, informing me of their decision. As seen as I haven't received it, I've asked for it to be re-posted and hopefully I'll receive it in the morning and stick the reply straight back in the post :D

Some nice extra savings for my house deposit, woo hoo :money:
  • although my complaint has been with the FOS since Feb 2010 and not yet with an adjudicator Lloyds have written to me to tell me they have reviewed my case and upheld my complaint, which was that the policy was no use to me in any way as i had more than adequate alternative cover. (with Lloyds as it happens)

any way, signed the acceptance and posing later today, just the short .....................................sorry long wait for the redress now :rotfl::rotfl:

it will be worth the extra wait now knowing they will be giving me £8k ish back in the next 2 months.

thaks for everyone who has helped me along on this journey over the last 12 months.:beer::beer: especially Di and Amersell
I'm proud to say that the banks no longer take money from me after becoming debt free
