I am seriously confused here, I won my complaint regarding my PPI that was missold and I noticed that the bank has credited me my money but here is what is confusing me

    PPI LOAN REFUND £757.23
    PPI INT REFUND £294.68

Add that up and it comes to a grand total of £1051.91

Last year when I contacted RBS to complain that I was missold 2 PPI policies I received a reply offering £750 for each policy which as you can see would come to a total of £1500 and I declined it, I am actually worse off winning my PPI complaint.

It looks as if I would have been better off if I accepted their fobbing off letter offer.

Can anyone shed any light as to why I am worse off?
Well done on your win:j:j as robbedof said, and give them a ring to confirm if they have paid one or is this for both.

    Reclaiming Success

Reclaimed PPI that my wife did not even know she had paid.

Provider of the Loan was Clydesdale Bank PLC

Total repayment including interest was £16,016.95

Initially the Bank refused to make any repayment so claim was handed over to the Ombudsman Service

The whole process from beginning to end took 18 months and there were many times it seemed it would be easier to give up. However, perseverance and involving the Ombudsman paid off
:xmastree::xmastree:A happy christmas will be had at your house this year :T
    Well done :money::money:

Hi all, just wanted a bit of advice please:)

Just got my letter back from MBNA and have paid £2510 in insurance and also £1300 to Capital One.
As I am self employed I am asking for it back + 8%.

Can anyone pop up the link for the next letter I send please so I get the right one.

Also I am in financial hardship so is there an easier/quicker route to reclaim?

    Many thanks.

    Hi there

To make a reclaim, you complete the reclaiming questionnaire, this replaced the reclaiming template letter on this site.
You then send to whoever set up your policy from the start.

Remember to keep copies of all you send and receive - in case you need to refer to this again at some point.

They normally have 8 weeks to give a decision, good luck.
