    Hi Dean

I would keep in touch with your adjudicator on this, my hubby has an ongoing one with the fos and was told it would be okay, but it seems people in the same position have been told different things.
Your adjudicator should confirm, good luck, please do you think you could let us know, cheers.

Big success for me......Used Martins letters and, within a week of sending just the first one out to LLoyds-TSB, had an agreement to repay £2500 of PPI :j ....and then, once it had been paid into my account, i used a bit of it to pay off the loan! Wahooo!

Waiting on some credit cards - don't hold too much hope for these to be honest. Rejected straight out of hand so went down the Ombudsman route. More "If you don't try you don't know..." with these though really.
:j:jWell done on your win :beer:
  • Hi all,

I recieved a phone call from A&L on Tuesday letting me know that my ppi claim had been upheld and that i would recieve £1911.33. does anyone know how long it will take to get the money, maybe i'm being impatient but i want to get on with xmas shopping and finishing my bathroom b4 xmas.
  • From First Plus
    PPI added to a loan
Asked for the Ombudsman’s letter got an offer letter instead

Followed the process outlined in your website filled out the questionnaire which was returned. After some time we revieved a full reply with a number to call if you werent happy with their explanation. I just rang up and asked for the our complaint to be referred to the Ombudsman a I wasnt happy with their version of events waited a while and got an offer letter from them. I accepted their offer and..
Received a refund of £9551 with interest of £2059 to the balance and a cheque for £3630. Nice

Whole process took about 4 months.

Thanks for your guidance Mr. MS.Expert

    Hi

    Well done to you!

After you accepted and signed, and they received your acceptance, give them say 28 days (month) and if you hear nothing, chase it up.;)
