:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j ...... one for every thousand!
So 8k's worth of ppi has just been returned to us for a loan with Lloyds TSB Insurance back in 2004. That includes of ALL premuims, comp int & simple int @8%!! ....... took 2 months in total.
Wery Happy yah!!!!
I lodged mine in August - have sent back acceptance forms etc - they acknowledged receiving them - to-day is the 28th working day - phoned them - to be told - that i will receive a letter within 5 to 7 days from their legal team
Not sure what to make of it really - surely they cant retract what they have accepted liability for - letter upholding the complaint - What good would holding back payment do - unless they are planning to retract0 -

I had a loan with the Halifax and was being charged over £4000 for ppi which i thought was high. After reading about it on your site martin i though i'd give it a go, so i sent my letter to the bank expecting to get a straight no, but to my suprise they agreed i'd been missold the ppi and have now refunded £1600 i've paid sofar and also recalculated the loan so i no longer owe as much and my monthly payments are lower :rotfl: Thanks for the push and i recomend everybody goes for it as you have nothing to loose :beer:0

'I got a letter from FOS dated 20 Sept to say Lloyds have agreed to make an offer '
That is the same date on my letter from FOS saying LTSB had agreed to settle. They appear to have agreed to settle quite a few lately but I'm still wondering if this is a delaying ploy by LTSB as mine has been in the queue for the Ombudsman since May.
Hi hon
Well done to you too!:T and Congratulations!
With one of my hubbys, thats being dealt with by the fos right now, they emailed yesterday to confirm as these are ongoing/resolved cases these will not be part of the hold ups.
Fingers crossed hey?:)XThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

.Hi All,
I put a claim into FOS October 2009. I got a letter from FOS dated 20 Sept to say Lloyds have agreed to make an offer to settle my complaint. I was so happy. Anyway I scanned the acceptance to FOS on 26th Sept and called them the next day to confirm receipt. They said yes they have it and have sent it to Lloyds. Had not heard anything so I thought I would call Lloyds. I did last week and they said they have not received it. To give it a little while and call back. Called back today Lloyds say still have not received it and then informed me that because of the ongoing issue with PPI and FOS it may take a good while before I receive a refund as they are in dispute. I said I thought that was only for fresh complaints. They said no. So I called FOS. They said it has been logged but not sent!!! There was a glitch in the system and it should be sent in the next few days. I asked about the court case and if it was only for new complaints he said he does not know anything at the moment will have to wait for news! Feel deflated so near .... yet so far.0 -

Hi,
I take it yours is also with LTSB? If so 100% chase them again & ask for Scott Copsey (Supervisor) tel 08453005599 He dealt with us in quick step time. Don't deal with the 'erks at answer phone level, also be calm, polite & move it up. They will honour all agreed forms sent in recently. Good luck"onwards & upwards"0 -

sounds like you were given the same runaround by Lloyds as myself. Put a claim in for ppi on two loans. Recieved acceptance for one saying they were refunding me ppi but when I rang today to ask about the other loan was told it had been "overlooked" and was being re submitted but were now unable to give me any ideal when it would be dealt with. Funnily enough, on doing this he didnt need to ask me any more details about it so must have had my original claim. I rang a few days previous and was fobbed of on that occasion so can only suppose deliberate delaying tactics are going on in the belief they will not have to pay out. Really p****ed off now

Always push it up to a senior level. Don't deal with the front line people, they're scripted."onwards & upwards"0
