Thanks for the Link Di. Hope restored after reading it! Lloyds aren't even legal. Cant see too many jumping on the bandwagon as they would do damage to themseves I'd say x0

I sent one letter to lloyds tsb about ppi on two loans. Just over a week later i recieved a reply saying they were going to refund ppi plus interest on one loan and gave me a form to fill in to get the money into my account. Obviously they are treating this as two separate matters but since then, about a week ago, I have not recieved anything about the other loan. I rang them just to find out if they could tell me whether paperwork was on its way for that one but found the person I spoke to not very helpful and could not tell me anything. How long do you think I should leave it before writing to them again. Luckily the one that has been settled was the largest but the circumstances are the same for the smaller one. Any advice welcome.0

Hi there
First of all, well done on your success.
You could email them here....
customer.care.insurance@lloydstsb.co.uk
Give them the case number, make them aware its an ongoing and not NEW complaint, and you require some details that you have been waiting for.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Continue as normal, and keep to the usual procedures, if you hear nothing by 8 weeks, you can then still make a complaint to the FOS.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi All,
I put a claim into FOS October 2009. I got a letter from FOS dated 20 Sept to say Lloyds have agreed to make an offer to settle my complaint. I was so happy. Anyway I scanned the acceptance to FOS on 26th Sept and called them the next day to confirm receipt. They said yes they have it and have sent it to Lloyds. Had not heard anything so I thought I would call Lloyds. I did last week and they said they have not received it. To give it a little while and call back. Called back today Lloyds say still have not received it and then informed me that because of the ongoing issue with PPI and FOS it may take a good while before I receive a refund as they are in dispute. I said I thought that was only for fresh complaints. They said no. So I called FOS. They said it has been logged but not sent!!! There was a glitch in the system and it should be sent in the next few days. I asked about the court case and if it was only for new complaints he said he does not know anything at the moment will have to wait for news! Big success for me......Used Martins letters and, within a week of sending just the first one out to LLoyds-TSB, had an agreement to repay £2500 of PPI :j ....and then, once it had been paid into my account, i used a bit of it to pay off the loan! Wahooo!
Waiting on some credit cards - don't hold too much hope for these to be honest. Rejected straight out of hand so went down the Ombudsman route. More "If you don't try you don't know..." with these though really.0
