  • it just goes to show that everyone can do this for themselves and its not too difficult,
    these companies who offer to do it for you are just rip-off merchants,

    just think, you nearly lost 39% of your money.

    Yep. Some of us do learn the hard way though. Tip: if you have used a claim company, save the fee and put off paying, they may eventually give in and reduce the fee. Not perfect but will cut your losses

    Well done on your Lloyds success :beer:
    Can l ask the address you sent your claim to as l am helping a friend with a claim for Lloyds Bank loan for missold PPI and l sent to Lloyds Insurance and they stated nothing to do with them

    I would send it recorded delivery and i also sent step one and two at the same time. in different envelopes though!

    so am stuck on trying to work out the interest any help would be fab
    so the loan was for
    17,000

    the cost of ppi was and came off at the beginning of the loan!
    4,192

    total loan
    21,192

    my monthly payments were
    £318 pm over 7 years

    i have 13 months left on loan

    they are giving me a simple 8% intrest rate

    what would that total approx

    any help would be lovely

    Hiya, hopefully someone will be along soon......sorry I am hopeless at workings out side of things.

    hi, just to confirm you are still paying the ppi on your loan as you mention above that the cost of the ppi came off the loan at the beginning, or did you mean it went onto the loan.

    have you got the breakdown of the loan payment and ppi payment seperately, if not do you have the interest rate you are being charged on the loan,

    once i know this i can work out what you should be due back.
