Sorry to read that they have rejected after almost 4 months of waiting, how annoying!!:mad:

The FOS are trying to deal with these complaints quicker than before, by taking extra staff on regularly.

You should first receive a letter of acknowledgement within normally 2-3 weeks.
Then it may take some as its in the queing system, but once moved on, if straight forward - for example it should then take about 8 weeks, however sometimes if can be resolved even before it goes to the adjudicator, this sometime happens.

In the worse scenerio, about say 18 months, but that is normally because the other party have ignored the adjudicators decision, in this case its then moved on to the ombudsman himself, there is some time waiting for this, but not normally as long as the waiting for the adjudicator.

If this goes as far as the ombudsman, they generally offer further redress for distress and inconvenience.

Hi everyone!

I have success after only sending one letter to lloyds Tsb :j
also it only took 14 days to get the reply.

One thing am confused about is where the money will go! The loan is currently running i have 13 months left, av never missed a payment so no arrears.
So will they end the loan early or put the money back into the bank?

I hope its the bank i want to take the kids to Disney land :j

if you have not missed any payments then they will repay you the money they owe you straight in to your bank account and your monthly loan repayments will go down for the remainder of th eloan term.

Woo hoo I say one letter I sent both step one and step two on the same day! the day after i got an acknowledgement letter. I have held off for months doing this and i was going to leave it all to a 3rd party to deal with.
So glad i didnt i would have been 39% down all for the price of 2 stamps

it just goes to show that everyone can do this for themselves and its not too difficult,
these companies who offer to do it for you are just rip-off merchants,

just think, you nearly lost 39% of your money.
