Wahayy... another cheque arrived in the post today from Barclays Bank for a loan in 2000 the grand sum of £1160.52...this beings my tally up to £9798.52 from the Banks most from Barclays as well... and i have another 11 complaints currently on the go with them..
3 more cheques today for 3 seperate business loans that I had with Barclays totalling £5601.91 which gives me a grand total of £15400.43 sucessfully claimed back so far. 3 have been refused though due to time scales being too long and no original paperwork but ho hum i was taking a long shot they were from 1992,93 and 940 -

I think you will find that the ppi was added to the front of the loan and you pay this back monthly with the loan, as you have just over a year to go then you have ppi on there that you have not yet paid. If you are right, could you please tell us how you paid the ppi up front and did you pay that yourself so it was not added to the loan?
as i have not heard this before.
Hi the way it look is that the first 13 payments i made were to cover the ppi!
So much small print!!!:eek:0 -

Hiya
I would chase them up on the month.
Some have waited a month to about 45 days, but this may vary, or give them a ring now just to ease your mind, they should be able to confirm when you will be receiving your refund, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Ok I havn't posted for a while so thought I would give an update of where I am.
1) MBNA repaid £700 in March 2010 after first letter.
2) Barclaycard repaid £986 after second letter threatening Ombudsman.
3) HSBC approx £2500 now with Omdudsman after their adjudicator ruled in my favour but HSBC still denied miss selling.
4) Marks and Spencers charge card and personal reserve £598 and £900 now at first stages of Ombudsman against the insurance underwriter's after M&S money declared the FOS did not cover them and Allianz the underwriter denied liability. Letter received today from the FOS on this.
5) Santander £398 deny miss selling and claim they were not covered by the FOS on storecards in 2003 when the PPI was set up so I have now requested the Insirance underwriter info from them but I have been given two underwriters names and addresses so I have asked them to revisit this.
6) Vanquis Bank approx £300 deny selling PPI and call it a repayment Option plan but on the SAR report they have sent me they have crossed out payments labelled as life insurance and insurance and handwrittten ROP on my SAR report. This is now being sent to the FOS.
7) Finally my father in law claimed and got back over £9000 from hsbc in March.0 -
