  • :T:T:T I am new to this but I have to tell you all. I have just recieved £14000:beer: from FSCS for my PPI claim against Picture. It took about three months from start to end but no hassle and a great result. Thanks for all the informative posts and good luck to those still fighting:rotfl:

  • I Just wanted to thank MSE for the knowledge required to reclaim my credit card PPI from Barclaycard.
N.b I had claimed on the PPI in early 2000

I wrote a letter 7 weeks ago requesting the premiums I currently pay be stopped as I feel they are no longer beneficial due to change in personal circumstance I also wrote to them explaining the PPI was sold when I first took out the credit card (1997) and feel it was not warranted at that time due to my personal circumstance and government job which had a good sickness policy i.e. 6 months full pay 6 months 1/2 pay etc.

Less than a week later they ceased the premiums as requested ( i had tried this before via the telephone but they declined to take any action stating the insurance was via a third party and they had no contact details for them ????)
I then recieved a basic form asking for some basic detail (very easy to complete) and returned the same day to Barclaycard.

I have just recieved a letter from Barclaycard with an offer for the PPI Miss selling which clears my debt to BARCLAYCARD which is over £2000 and it also gives me an additional £800 in my bank account:T

Thanks once again your my new best friend:j

  • I recently finished paying for a loan i had with halifax over the last 5 years. After seeing loads of adverts about mis-sold PPI i realised that I had being paying for it and couldnt understand why when i didnt need it.

I then looked on the internet to see which company would be the best to reclaim for me, when i came across MONEY SAVING EXPERT!

This said that i could do it myself and keep all the money if i got any back, where as companies take a percentage.

I printed the form of (provided by MONEY SAVING EXPECT) filled it in, made copies of my contract and sent it to halifax head office.

TODAY 3 weeks later i have received a cheque in the post for £2017.88 and apologies for any inconvenience!WOW!

FILL THE FORM IN AND SEND IT OFF! well worth it!thanks Martin!:T:T:T:T:T:j:j:j:j:A:A:A:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
