Mondo are still taking their sweet time.

I like Revolut. Only pain is the 2% fee after £500. The app is excellent though with instant notification of spending, often even before the shop have managed to print a receipt.

I imagine reasonable 2% they make money when people are not careful with this £500 monthly limit.

Anyone knows how this one month is running it is running from 1-30/31 (start until end of the month) or what ??

    thank

I have seen that links before before because I have googled it , but I just got confused of post # 669 from richlowe Old 15-06-2016, 7:51 AM

"I have just received my Mondo card. It is fee free for ATM and POS and you get the MasterCard exchange rate. "

I though he was referring t a card and not the apps.
I got confuse what this apps to do with Fee free credit cards ??.
Also I will be extremely careful to link my bank account, credit cards if i need to download and install the apps.

Had the Supercard and it was brilliant but I only use cash on holiday so it is no longer any good for me so I too on recomendations from other posters have downloaded the Revolut app. My card was delivered today after less than a week and I shall be using it in Turkey and Egypt soon. The £500 fee free limit should just about cover me.

How do they consider the month on Revolut. It is from the date you get the card, calender month or what ??

I don't know, but the £500 limit will be enough whatever. I'd have thought it would be 1 month from the first atm withdrawal.

I tested mine last night with a £10 top up. Got declined by my bank and I received a text from them within 20 seconds asking me if I'd authorised the transaction and if I did to try again ten minutes later. Second payment went through very smoothly so I am now good to go.

To be extra sure, test your card while in the UK in an ATM for balance check or PIN change, and make a purchase with it.

I never had this with mine, but my girlfriend had with Barclays, and I've experienced similar when doing money transfers with Nationwide. A quick Yes in response to the text sorts it, and you never have to do it again for that purchase.

I emailed and asked and according to Olga "withdrawing cash from an ATM with your Revolut multi currency card is free for £500 (or equivalent) each calendar month after which there is a 2% charge".
