I emailed and asked and according to Olga "withdrawing cash from an ATM with your Revolut multi currency card is free for £500 (or equivalent) each calendar month after which there is a 2% charge".
Interesting. This could mean that if your week's holiday spans two calendar months, say from the 28th to the 4th, you could withdraw £1000 (if needed) without fees.

This is correct, or if there are two of you going £2000.

I shall be using mine in August in Turkey and have already looked at the live exchange rates on the app and they were way better (approx .10TL) to to the £ better than MSE best buy. (4.22 vs 4.10).

    ... PIN change ...
    Not allowed.

    From the FAQs:
How can I change my PIN?
You are unable to change your PIN however, you can easily view it in your Supercard app. Simply find it in the menu of our app. It’s password protected, so only you can view it.

    From the FAQs:

Let's hope the facility to view your PIN in the new app works better than the last one.

The main reason that I stopped using my old Supercard was that I forgot the PIN and it showed as blank in the app.

This is the Supercard thread but we had gone off-topic, referring to Revolut which does allow PIN change.

It is actually a very good card if people could trust them. The man issue here is there are not a major financial institution, e.g Banks, BS. THey might change the rue again in the fututre, make it more difficult to get our your ash from casm.

Revolut has done that, FairFX has done that in the past ....
For that reason I will be thinking twice to load the card with reasonable amount of money (saya a few grands) even if it means I will loose the chance the lock the xchange rate.

I fully agree with this. They just changed the T&C regarding the amount the people could withdraw from the cash machines, it is just a matter of time before they change it again to the worse.

I am fully aware that customer funds are physically located in pooled client accounts at Barclays, but it is not the same with the case owned by Barclay Bank Plc.

If we learn from FairFx, Travelex Supercard it is just a matter of time before it will be more difficult to get your own money out of this card.

I think Revolut might has underestimated the role of trust from the customers in Pre-paid creditcards. Unlike Creditcard in Pre-paid creditcards the customer put ther money in advance to be able to use it without earning any interest. So if they have a lot of money pooled in their clients account, they are already making money from interest rate POV.

    Hi,

Would love a FACTUAL answer to this. Tried calling CS, but the lady told me one thing, then the opposite. As SCard has no written contact save the trolls of Facebook and Twitter I thought maybe you could get an answer.

    My question is this:

I am in the UK, using a UK ISP. I go onto a foreign website, let’s say Australian, and book a holiday (website address ends .au). The cost of the holiday is in AUD. I pay for that holiday in AUD using Supercard.

Is that classed as “ Card usage outside the United Kingdom “ and thus transaction free; or is it classed asCard usage within the United Kingdom ( E-Commerce Transactions within the UK (non-sterling transactions) ) and thus subject to a £1 +1% transaction fee?

    Thanks in advance

    It's outside the UK.

Supercard as that's where the bill will come from. Travelex aren't doing reverse IP lookups. They are looking at where the company is based/invoicing from.
