Thanks for the reply, but is that a 100% FACT based on a response from Scard, or your opinion based on logic.

Sorry it's IMO. For fact you have to contact supercard, but there is no way they can tell if you are in the UK or not.

For example if you in HK and use your mobile with your UK sim card in it to order the tickets, you'd still have a UK IP.

It is just that if customer services can't give me a straight answer I thought Helen might be able to contact Scard to get straight answer.

If it is the same principle as the pilot card then it is 100% fact, ive used my card on Amazon.fr and Amazon.es, paid in euros from the UK and there were no charges, also bought things from ali express and subscribed to a us based company paying monthly in dollars

New card arrived. Looks more like a genuine card (professional printing, rotated in the 'normal' way and numbers embossed in the card).

Doubt it will see much (any) use though, now that the ATM fee has been added.

I also received my free card, activated it in the app and linked a debit card to it. Then I looked for the option to 'switch off' or block the card, as in the pilot app, and it's not there.

So this apparent lack of protection from fraudulent use will prevent me from actually using it, when there are much safer options. Revolut now has advanced and selectable security features, for example.
    Evolution, not revolution
