The phone will be unlocked.0

considering a nokia 6300 deal from MYTD, will the phone be locked?
Depending on how many minutes you want, they have similar deals on Phones4u (their parent company site) and you can get additional £20 Quidco cashback (some 12 month free/12 month contracts but only on the lower tariffs - they had 6300 Black earlier in the week on the higher tariffs but they seem to have disappeared).

Actually its even better - Quidco are offering £50 for Vodafone contracts and £30 for other contracts. See www.quidco.com/phones4u.
Also there are some higher tarriffs with 11months free on 12 month contract and with the £50 Quidco you can still make a profit.0 -

Sorry I wasn't clear, I meant that you could make £50 quidco instead of the £30 offered on M2YD, hence £20 additional cashback.

Does mobile2yourdooor accept online bills from vodafone??
I phoned vodafone and they have said that it will cost me £1.50 per paper bill what the hell is that about???0 -
They've never charged me - though their customer service is good only in words and not in deeds. Yes, on-line bills should be ok. Email M2yD to confirm and cover yourself, but they are very good.0

Its all about ripping off the customer any way they can.
:mad:I am NOT a mortgage & insurance adviser - or anything to do with finance, that was put on by the new system I dont know why?!0 -
Anyone got any experience/advice on what M2YD mean in T&C's when they say claim period? It's a very woolly description, open to interpretation.
My contract with Vodafone began 1st Aug 08 and 6 mthly bill is Jan 09. (Ordered phone end of July, 4 cashbacks of £75 ea.)
I haven't had any claim form sent as yet - it's supposed to arrive within 30 days of the claim period.
To my reckoning the claim period is the claim date (customer services say its 25th Jan?) so I should have had a form in December/January.
As the claim period is up to 60 days after 25th Jan does that mean they can wait until Feb or even March before sending?
I've chased up 2x - with Customer Services via email promising the form but none has materialised! 1st reply said they'd send me
a new form implying I'd lost the first one!! I'm not surprised to encounter hassle from the off, as I've been reading a lot of the threads on the subject on MSE.com
Have had a couple of 6 mth contracts before with e2save/virgin and had cashback with relatively few probs.
I'm a newbie here -1st time I've posted so hopefully I've done it correctly. Would be grateful for any advice from those in the know??Thanks

Your claim period will commence a few days (I expect) before the 1st February. You should have rceived the first claim form about 3 weeks ago. Call them rather than send an email (which hasn;t worked). It usually takes up to a week for the form to arrive after they print out another one. When you call they will give you a reference number to refer to the conversation. Don't panic - you have 60 days from the start of the claim period, whcih you're only just entering.0

I have read a number of threads about this (other network to Vodafone PAYG, Vodafone PAYG to new Vodafone Contract phone from M2YD) but has anyone had any success yet? All the best deals seem to be Vodafone (with Phones4u/Mobiles2yourdoor as the most reliable offer at the moment) and I am stuck without being able to move my number.
Many thanks
