I am as cool as a cucumber (though be it yellow and dancing)... and I'm happy for you that your technique has worked so far. I am merely pointing out that what you are doing could result in a failed claim and therefore arguing purely to prevent people falling into a potential trap that they (M2YD) have obviously not noticed as a get-out yet.

    It says, to quote:

    - Wait until the valid claim date is reached (see above)
    - Complete this claim form and send it to the address below, with a copy of your most recent network bill

The Ts & Cs on the back say:

    2. To qualify for your Chequeback, you must:
    a. Have a live contract with the network you were connected to at the time you purchased your qualifying contract handset and tariff
    b. Have maintained continuous usage on this network and tariff up to and including the start of the qualification period
    ...

I read qualification period as being from the the valid claim date to sixty days after that. So as I say, technically what you are doing isn't what they are asking. Good luck though... I genuinely believe you have been lucky they've not rejected previously.

Sorry but when the claim form is sent has nothing to do with which bill you are meant to be sending, so I don't see your point there sheldon128. And in any case, I believe what's gone (and maybe continues to go) on for lactics4life is a fortunate mistake on M2YD's part.

I don't see it as a mistake on either part.

I realise you can read it as, "pass this date and send whatever bill you have at that time"

But that isn't what they usually mean to require (as per all other cashback sites T&C's) - what they want (other than that you will forget or mess it up) is to ensure that if you are claiming, then you are
    a) still on the contract,
    b) haven't changed that contract (reduced its cost),
    c) usually that you are paid up, i.e. not in arrears

The most efficient way of doing this is to get the bill received after the claim date, but I have no problem either way as I will copy both the July and August bills for my claim beginning on 06 August.

I admit I may have been able to send it sooner with just the July bill, but this is my 2nd MY2YD claim set and it has worked perferctly so far.

They also do seem to be getting more efficient at it, I didn't even have to pester for my claim form for my new cotract when the claim date is May 2009, and the obvious suggestion here is that the sooner they send it, the more chance you have of losing it or forgetting to claim (so it's gone into my Outlook calendar).

Anyway I'm bored with this thread now, it's lost its direction.
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

Sid Harper is absolutely correct. I knew the email was wrong as soon as I saw it but had no chance to comment until now. Vary from Sid on this at your peril - the legal instructions are perfectly clear.

We took the advice of Sid Harper and followed the claim form.

Our Claim date was the 15August, as stated on the claim form it said send your most recent bill, which for us was the 23rd july ,so no waiting for the 23rd August for the next bill.
We Printed off the vodafone bill and sent that with the Claim form( Recorded delivery )
We phoned them up to confirm they had received the claim, which they had.
So from sending it off to getting the Cheque back,it took about 2 weeks

    Thanks for the help

I have now received the forth cashback cheque for £192 2 weeks after sending the claim form back.

At the end of last week I phoned to check all was well and the operator confirmed cheq was printed on the 26th Aug. He also mentioned that his records indicated I had requested disconnection from Vodafone, which was true.

Have now taken out another 12 month contract with M2YD and in the post today was the first claim form.

Would recommend them highly as long as you follow their instructions. I personally send my claims forms by special delivery and Quidco always tracks.:j

If I can assist anyone please feel free to pm me

    Happy days

madgpol, i am surprised that you received your claim first form with your new order. i took 2 new phones last month and none had a claim form. i immediately emailed them but they said that they will send it 30 days before the first claim date. i then emailed again after some time and they said they are posting it and i should receive in a week, but i am still waiting after 2-3 weeks. i have emailed them again but have been waiting for a response for 3 days.
