  • There seems to be no recent 'Posts' about mobiles2your door ~ I decided to give it trial ~ you have to pay by direct debit to the service provider and you don't start to recieve cash back for several months.

Another drawback is that you cannot port your mobile number because of the 3rd party contract.

The cash back is graded in 4 payments mine were as: 1st £48 then 2nd £96 then 3rd £144 and finally 4th £192 = total cash back of £480 ~ so far I have received only £48

I have sent my cash back form in and the second payment has not arrived yet and it is overdue. I have phoned customer services this morning and they will cancel the cheque and send out another cheque but this will take a further 10 days.

Has anyone had any experience with mobiles2your door failing to honor their agreement?

Received my 3rd cashback cheque today for £144. The last 2 chqs have been received 1 week after sending in the claims form by special delivery. A very happy customer and likely to go with them again when I see the right deal.

Snap, mine has been trouble free since chasing them for the first form. It still says 3 of 4 for the last one though, maybe they'll send me another to claim afterwards!!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)

I am thinking about taking out a cashback deal with M2YD. However, I want to continue to use my current handset. Is there any issue with doing that without invalidating my cashback? I can't see anything in their terms and conditions. I am not very technically minded - would they even know that I wasn't using the phone I got as part of the cashback deal? Thanks for any help.

You can use your handset. (Assuming it is unlocked for the network you are thinking of getting).
  • On a side note, is it acceptable to send a second LBA a day after, instructing to ignore the previous?

I sent an LBA demanding the £171 auto cheque back from e2save, but would like to now send an LBA demanding the entire cashback, for fundemental breach of contract.

Just send another (no need to refer to the first one you sent, assuming they have ignored it, and not sent you the money requested).
  • Ah, predictable as always, the £171 auto cheque back arrived today*. (I also emailed them the LBA yesterday, to which they responded stating they can't accept LBAs through email and provided the postal address).

Anyways, now that the cheque has arrived, I don't suppose I could send another LBA demanding the remaining cashback, as the LATE arrival (as opposed to non arrival) of the cheque fundamentally breached the contract?

*I can imagine somebody hastily stuffing the cheque into a prepaid envelope, jogging to the local post box in a fret, and posting the cheque out yesterday. Ah, it makes me feel better just thinking about it :D

It looks like the money was on its way in any case (they use second class post, so it wouldn't have been put in the post just yesterday)

You could find it not so straightforward to now start an action because of the late arrival.

Hopefully the cashbacks will come ok, but as soon as one is a day late you now know what to do!
