I now have 4 forms for my first claim on my latest contract so really don't think I'll have any real problems. However, as always I am on my toes. I now have three contracts through them plus two more for others. So far so good, cashback claims seem to be going very well and minor hicups have easily been sorted out. That does mean contacting them the moment things don't happen as they should and I've had absolutely no problems in that respect either. I would still recommend people to avoid all cashback deals unless they know precisely how the game is played though.0

Is anybody else perturbed at the highlighted line in the below extract of Mobiles2yourdoor's ToS:
- All applications will be verified for eligibility upon receipt.
- Mobiles2YourDoor reserve the right to refuse to accept applications at our sole discretion.
- When your claim is processed, you will be sent a new claim form (where applicable) to enable you to process your next claim.
- Any failed claim invalidates all future claims.
0 - All applications will be verified for eligibility upon receipt.

they may say that but it doesn't actually mean anything, it's just a way of covering their . make enough of a fuss and they'll pay out.
since it looks like they've finally accepted the automated procedure isn't working and are sending out the forms manually you've got plenty of time to make sure they've received it. unfortunately when i sent the form in they still assumed their procedures were working but it's good to see they've sorted themselves out now. makes me wonder whether it was my email to the CEO that had an effect.
mobilejunkie is right that it's a game; with all the bluffs and sleight of hand i'm thinking poker. if anyone is going to go for mobiles2yourdoor then https://www.quidco.com gives £45 (at last check) for going via them. play your cards right and be up on the deal.0 -
Hi everyone,
I bought a phone from M2YD last August, and have successfully received the claims so far. Just wondering when I should give the 30 day notice to cancel the contract if I want to move onto a different deal; my phone was connected to Vodafone on 23rd August, so my first bill included the dates 23rd Aug - 31st Aug as 'part' of monthly amount (so a fraction of the £40 per month) as well as the first whole month. I guess this means my last bill will also contain a fraction of the last month's bill? If I have to send off the last bill, doesn't this have to show £40 for the claim to be valid? Therefore, to be on the safe side, should I receive the last bill before calling them up and cancelling?!
Thanks a lot guys!0 -
You cancel on 23rd July, not a day sooner nor a day later, otherwise you end up paying something extra, however little that might be.
This has no effect on your cashback's as you have fulfilled your end of the 12 month contract.I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing!

I need some advice, I am moving house on 5th July I haven't received my first cashback claim form yet, what can I do? Does it mean I lost my rights to claim back my money?
Thank you so much in advance.

Hi all,
I'm thinking of getting a cashback deal from mobiles 2 your door. Have read a few pages from this thread and seems like they are paying out the cashback and few people have had problems. Am i correct?
Also, in terms of claiming are the sneaky with it like OSPS (e.g. who say to claim in month 8 but actually they have a specific date range such as the 12th-21st in month 8 that your claim must be received in, and they do not tell you this!)0 -
You can't cancel the contract by phone; you need to give 30 days' written notice. When moving home contact them as soon as possible and get their written confirmation of the new address. As for are they reliable, read all the threads and make up your own mind - but don't even think about entering into any cashback deal unless you are prepared to spend the time doing that beforehand, then following developments daily, planning and being prepared from the start to sue OR are content not to get your money back.0
