Hi all,
I am thinking about taking out a 12 month free line rental contract with Mobiles2yourdoor, they look reputable? and appear to be part of Phones 4u
does anyone have any cashback experiance with them?
Thanks in advance0 -
My jury's still out. Having my first problem with them which I think should be resolved, but not made my first claim yet. Phones4u generally have an awful reputation (there are at least two threads on them on here which I also follow closely) but I can't make any experienced judgement at present. However, I am covering myself fully on the assumption they won't pay - without much reason to think I'll have to resort to that method. All cashback deals are based on less than 40% getting their cashbacks; it's not exactly mathematically or logically challenging.0

I rec my phone at the week-end and rec the first claim form today, I phoned M2YD and was told that you only have to send the front cover of the bill and so you do not need an itemised bill. I ordered my phone on 1/3 and the claim date is 1/9, so they must go off that, not the date the phone was despatched or received or the date of the bill.
The cashback is for £110, so it is not the staggered claim amounts that OP have received.0 -
Send your 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th monthly bills within 60 days of the date stated on the relevant airtime bill, to us and we will credit you by cheque with 25% of the total amount at each redemption period* 12 Month Cheque Back Terms and Conditions

Hi,
I have previously had a cash back deal with P4U, which went smoothly.
Just to be clear; send your 6th bill e.g.first bill date: 1/1/08 so sixth would be 1/6/08, right?
Customers of M2YD, who have recently received their first cheque...was it easy? any tips?
I am thinking of taking out a contract with M2YD.
Thank you0 -
Bigsaver,
I've just sent my first cashback claim and it has been successful but still waiting for the cheque.
Basically I sent the latest bill I had in my possession when the claim date passed. If it helps it happened to be the bill that covered the 6th Month ie connection Aug07 and the bill sent was for Jan08.
Sent Special delivery with a covering letter and the original bill. Phoned yesterday to confirm all ok and the person I spoke to said the cheque and the next claims form will be sent after 28days.
I trust\hope the rest will be as straight forward.
Hope this helps you and any others wishing to use M2YD.

Madgpol,
Thanks for the info... let me know if you receive that cheque...I don't think there should be any problem...as P4U were prompt in sending the cheque.
What deal did you go for?0 -
The Samsung U600 12months free deal that was on at the time. Also got Quidco so all being well should be ok but these deals are getting harder and harder to find.
Good luck0 -
Good luck with the chequeback.
I sent in my first claim on the 14th Feb by signed for delivery but the Royal Mail website, track and trace showed no evidence of delivery. I rang M2YD on 29th Feb (as they could not tell me if the claim had arrived because of data protection when I emailed them) to be told that they had received the forms and that the claim was successful.
No cheque has arrived but I'll give them a few more days, then I will claim again (they sent me 2 1st claim forms) using special delivery. The problem is that this may bring me close to the start of my second 60 day claim window - 6th April. At least it may ease my chequeback paranoia and strengthen any legal claim against them if the first cheque for £48 does not arrive.
Bottom line? Get the claim off as soon as possible after the start of your 60 day claim window using the latest phone bill in your possession. If the cheque does not arrive within about 30 days or so, send off another claim (using copies of previous copies) by special delivery. I'm not implying that M2YD tell porkies on the phone - it's just playing the game with additional security.0 -

Hi Pengranger, did you get your cash back OK?:j0
