  • Hi i'm looking to buy this phone,
    http://www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk/OfferSelector.asp?ITK=1&ItemKey=188383&NetKey=2&HandsetKey=188383&byNet=1

If you copy and past that you should find an LG viewty 10 months free 12 month contract. If its 10 months free it should be £400 pounds redemption but states only £360?

I've taken it all the way through untill confirm order stage untill I realised? I really want it at 10 months free? What should I do? Should I just Place the order and enquire when it arrives - false advertising? Or ring them up before ordering because you can get 45 pounds via quidco?

Please can someone help me out?

    thanks

Yes take them up on the offer. If they are advertising it as 10 months free then they will struggle to back out of it. Might as well use quidco.

Take screen shots so you can prove it clearly stated 10 months free.
  • thanks for replying, im a bit cautious - i dont want any hassle!
  • I'd leave it well alone personally. Unless the information is consistent and clear it's not worth it. Always print everything off when you order; since something indicates only the equivilent of 9 months free and they can be a potential pain to deal with why get involved?

So what do people think. I still haven't got my form for first claim mid-Feb; I've emailed them... if I don't get it by mid-Feb what should I do?

I took out 2 contracts last year, I only recieved one claim form, I just rang them and they resent the second form, have you tried calling them ?
  • The really stupid thing is that I took out a second deal three weeks ago and got the form for THAT first claim (in July) on Saturday! Still no first form for my first deal though - if mine isn't here well before my claim dates (which I found out long ago!) they'll be hearing from me and (SHOULD) they not supply it for any reason they will discover that I won't mess around. However, in general so far I'm quite satisfied with what I've seen - despite not having made a claim as yet. By the way - for those not so long ago saying the amounts were wrong on the forms they received, mine is perfectly correct (lucky them is all I can say! Lol!).

I've just tried to call them three times. The first time I just got cut off as soon as I called. The 2nd time I got through to someone and cut off just after she asked for the ref. no. And the 3rd time it rang for the cashback dept. and then cut off again.

So I think I'm just going to write a letter, stating that despite 3 emails and 3 attempts to call, I can't get a form out of them, so I'm just sending the bill and want my cashback.
