As I said - "prepare for a fight".

It will not even take a fight. Write to the CEO of phones4u and he will get one of his subordinates to sort it out.

    Tim Whiting (CEO)
    Phones 4u House
    Ore Close
    Lymedale Business Park
    Newcastle-under-Lyme

I do not have my paperwork to hand but if I recall correctly phones4u/mobiles2yourdoor messed up big time anyway. For a start they set me 1 voucher which said I could claim all the money in month 6. There were contradicting statements and terms eg about the cashback form being sent out in 14 days (???). They have themselves breached terms and conditions but so far I have had no problems claiming and have had my 2 claims for £120 each paid up without any chasing.

Yes, well known company for sorting things out after one note to the CEO!
  • I agree. I won't bother with that. LBA and then sue. Mobile Affiliates attempted to reduce the time allowed for claims for existing contracts and got no-where despite a "change of terms" clause. This one would fundamentally change not only the basis of the whole deal very unfairly in favour of one party at the other's expense, but also make it a "riskier" proposition as someone just pointed out. I feel confident that SHOULD they go to court and actually appear I could persuade a judge that they have broken the t&c of my contract. Whilst there are no guarantees, I'd rather be on my side of such an argument than theirs! One thing I HAVE learned in my time on here is not to let them play games with delays or changes. Dealers will have you dangling for months if you do.

Auto means exactly that - no bills to send in, so long as you are still conncted, then the cashback comes to you at a preset time.

As for O2 matching, not on your life - A 360 is worth say £220 plus £120 makes £340 or about £30 a month, so O2 would have to offer it you for free!
I didn't do it, nobody saw me do it, you can't prove a thing! ;)
    Quidco and Topcashback, £4,569
    Shopandscan, £2,840
    Tesco Double The Difference, £2,700

    British Airways EU261/04 Claim, EUR1200

Everyone who buys from m2yd enters into a contract with phones4u, and not m2yd, as stated in the contracts:

Your friend's case is as strong as ever!
So what do people think. I still haven't got my form for first claim mid-Feb; I've emailed them... if I don't get it by mid-Feb what should I do?

I'm about to claim my first cashback and just want to check here first to ensure all goes well and it may also help others.

My connection date was 19th Aug07 and the cashback form states valid claim date as 15-02-08.

I've assumed Aug07 is month 1 and therefore I need to send statement for Jan08(month 6) which I have received today once the valid claim date has passed.

Have I got it right ??

Thanks in advance for any info and good luck to others in getting what is due to them.
