Here is the first claim form that my friend has received today (2 sides on 1 sheet)0
-
Thanks VERY much; THAT is extremely useful! It doesn't look as bad as I was expecting and helps me plan which bills etc (I already know my dates).
It's much appreciated! Let us know what happens about the 1 or 4 claims situation!0 -
Yea this claim form looks straight forward asking for the most recent bill to be sent not like other claim forms.
The fight with M2YD regarding 1 or 4 claims will be on going and will keep you updated on what will happen.
My friend has made a copy of their Terms & Conditions at the time of Purchase and here what the chequeback offers section says.
Cheque Back Offers
Cheque Back only available on specified handsets. Please check individual handsets and specific tariffs for details. Customers will pay the full price of the handset and receive a cheque for the value of the Cheque Back offer. All Cheque Back offers will be processed after the handset has been delivered and connected via the Phones 4u connection service on 0870 9050416 or online at www.phones4u.co.uk. Within 30 days of the handset being connected, a redemption form will be sent to the e-mail address used during the purchase. This redemption form will need to be completed and returned via post along with the users month 6 bill, the form must be recieved no later than 7 months from the users initial connection date. The 6 month bill must show that the user is on the same or higher value tariff. Cheques will be made payable to the person who placed the original order and will be issued within 30 days of receipt of the redemption form and bill. If the handset is returned under the Phones 4u 30 day return policy no cheque will be issued until 30 days after the provision of a replacement handset. No cheque will be dispatched if a refund is issued. Only handsets purchased in the promotion period will be eligible for the Cheque Back offer.0 -
OH.. it seems i've noted something strange now!
it seems the terms & condtions mobiles2yourdoor had at the time of order were phones4u terms and conditions.
mobiles2yourdoor word wasn't included anywhere.
This was the first paragraph in their terms and conditions at the time:
These terms and conditions ("the Terms") govern the users ("you" or "your") use of the website www.phones4u.co.uk ("the Website") and your relationship with Phones 4U ltd ("we", "our" or "us"). Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access nor use the Website.
If you have any queries regarding these Terms then please contacts us at web.support@phones4u.co.uk
If you have a query regarding a product purchased from this website, please contact web.orders@phones4u.co.uk
If you have a query regarding a phone purchased from a phones 4u store, please contact
web.support@phones4u.co.uk
If you have a query regarding your Singlepoint contract, please contact
customer.service@singlepointsolutions.co.uk or call 0870 9000700
Which means these terms and condtions are aimed at users of phones4u website.
That was really tricky as at the time seems they haven't included a copy under their name "M2YD".
I'm not sure if in this case my friend will have a strong case as it was evident that the terms included in M2YD website were related to phones4u website and not M2YD. Thats completely misleading.0 -
There should have been a box breakdown at the time you ordered, stating claim once in month 6. It always pays to copy everything - t&c included, but the actual deal details too. I doubt if the Phones4u reference makes any odds; it is a division not a different company and these are the t&c on the mobiles2yourdoor website for its customers at the time (I presume!).0

Everyone who buys from m2yd enters into a contract with phones4u, and not m2yd, as stated in the contracts:Please note that as Mobiles2YourDoor is a trading division of Phones 4u Limited rather than a separate legal entity, any reference to Mobiles2YourDoor shall be deemed to include Phones 4u Limited and any contract which you enter into via this Website will create a contract between you and Phones 4u Limited
Your friend's case is as strong as ever!0 -
I too have received my claim form, I ordered 2 phones but have only had 1 claim form0

Any news on anyone's claims with this place?0

Is this company decent or rubbish? i was ok with E2 save for a year but they have no good offers now
John0 -
Better than e2save so far.
I had my 1st claim cheque back in a few weeks and sent off my 2nd claim just before xmas.
e2save were good but the only decent deals they ever have now are price match ones with poor terms.0
