Limiting all users to between one to five threads a day doesn't seem unreasonable. Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0

It's totally unreasonable.
I am far from being the most prolific poster and I average about 12 threads per day, so on some days I will create over 50 threads.
Extract from usage statistics of our #1 poster (and 99% of the posts are new threads):

Would it perhaps be possible to create a spam button group of established members with a track record of deleting genuine spam (I presume you know who they are) so that e.g. if let's say 5 of the group classed a post as spam,it's gone. Just thinking this could clear the boards quicker, and I apologise if this is an unworkable idea.MSE_Andrea wrote: »We can see a lot of you are helping us and the Board Guides out by clicking the spam button.

As proven again today, censoring certain words does not stop the spam, it still gets through to the board with the words !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! out

Similarly, censoring certain 'accents' (diacritics) on certain letters does not stop spam getting through to the boards.
Only an idiot would think it did. :whistle:0 -
Several times I suggested to add a small 'Spam' button to all threads in a board view.
Personally, because of the towers unwillingness to do anything, I went on strike long time ago and stopped wasting my time on killing any 'mass' spam.
I suggest "the lot" do the same.MSE_Andrea wrote: »We can see a lot of you are helping us and the Board Guides out by clicking the spam button.
