If they gave all the board guys access to the 'one touch'
They could clear spam from any section on the forum.
I (well less so these days) moderate on a forum and the moderating team being global the spammers are usually cleared out before most members see the posts.
But that assumes that "the board guys" (BGs) here - at least some of them - will be on the forum at that time.
It doesn't necessarily work out that way.
Perhaps MSE ought to make use of their now fairly extensive overseas membership (as well as those up & about in the UK at odd hours) to provide a bit more round-the-clock supervision.

All they need to do is hit new posts. It doesn't matter what forum the spam is on. The one touch gives cross section access.
Realistically you only need one mod/BG to be on in the early morning to clean up.0 -

for me. the tool simply bans and cleans all history of a user.
