Don't kick yourself Swan, I'm only joking - with all you do, you have to factor in treats & one that gives you joy for a year is worth every penny. We all need a boost sometimes (ask me how I know....) and think how virtuous you will feel sticking to your budget!

You're not poor, just have a normal income compared to some people.
Perfume is your feel good factor as nail varnish is mine, we all have that one treat which lifts our spirits.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Chocolate is what springs to mind for me, but, giving up on the sweet stuff now.... hmmm maybe I should develop a fetish for something healthier?"...when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains however improbable, must be the truth..."

If the perfume makes you happy then it was a bargain. Longwaytogo I went with the company named after the thing you screw into a light fitting to get light. Im not sure if we are allowed to name companies. You are doing well if your bills have gone down Savingwannabe, thats good going.Clearing the junk to travel light

Hello ladies, I am working from home for now but will be going in once a week or so. I am trying to go for a 1 hour walk but it have been doing crazy hours so that is not always possible. Currently I'm avoiding chocs and crisps. It has been 10 days and i feel better. I am not sure that i have lost any weight yet.
Planning to do a food shop/walk later in the week. Lockdown has helped me to avoid spending on non essentials. I think i have bought my perfume for the year. It is so cold the energy bill is about £4 a day. Next month is saving council tax month whoop whoop. Hurrah i love that time. I will be making a extra savings which i am chuffed about.
