The email was one of the things that changed with the new forum, there's a box to say hide it.

If you do change suppliers, don't go with S.P!

Happy New Year. We saved a fortune changing suppliers much against hubsters better judgement. We changed years ago and it went wrong but nowadays its much better. We are paying £50 a month less with this one. Hope you are enjoying a few more days rest and things are good with you.

    Happy new year.

You are doing really well with your budget and savings. You have inspired me to try and get my discretionary spending budget that bit lower.

£50 a month less with the new supplier is a good saving.

Hey Swan, I can understand you not wanting to change, that sounds horrendous! Maybe if you sweet talk them, they may offer a better tariff? But don't do it if the thought stresses you out. Happy marking  :)

Hallo Ren, they offered me the February tarriff which means i am pretty much paying what i paid last year. Whenever i change companies they start off saying i will save and i always end up paying the same high amount as my house just leaks heat. It is just a bungalow with an upstairs. I'm happy with BG although SP was the company that i nearly considered thank you Moving Forwards for stopping me from a potential problem! I love this site we learn so much.

Tomorrow we have a staff training day I have no idea what is going on after after Boris's announcements so it is a bit of an adventure. All my direct debits go out tomorrow. I will have £149 left!!!! I am treating myself to a few bottles of perfume they will cost £50  but they are less than half price. I've done it but am not buying anything else even if they drop on my head. Yikes i just spent £50!!! £99 for rest of the month but i can do it as i have most food and just need bread and fruit in a week's time.

We need to find ways to stop your home leaking heat, when you pop back on tell us where the radiators are, what flooring you've got down, what type of doors and windows you have and where you've identified drafts. Then we can list off various tricks.

SP are expensive, but also are abysmal at resolving problems / complaints, they are overwhelmed with the new customers being transferred to them because of a smaller supplier going bump, there were problems when they took on one prior to that, Ofgem have fined them several times and guess who is the supplier of my property 😉 you've seen what I'm going through!

If you have a works email you can access, it may be worth a quick look, my company have been emailing useless updates over the holiday 🤨

    I'm sure you can make £99 last, that's nearly £25 a week 🤗

I know I am kicking myself, I love that perfume. I have enough to last over a year now but just after Christmas is the best time to buy it. I will live on £100 this month which is fine.
My gas electric bill has gone down by £8! i don't know how?
