I have been at it for 12 months. The reality is though that I will leave as soon as fiber is available to me so there isn't much she can really do

OK But surely - if you haven't had a reliable service on your phone line for 12 months - and your complaints have been ignored - you deserve compensation at the very least ?

Well well. I had an email from their CEO office....the same email I received 12 months ago only it had a different name and incident number. Then the sender called me, didn't have a clue that this has been going on for so long. Then asked if I had a total loss of service. .......not difficult to answer given that I answered their call. Obviously you don't have to be clever to work at Talktalk

That's true - some apparently are working on their level 1 ELC's and hope to gain higher in the future !!

The broken wire is between 2 poles. They are still telling me they need to dig the road up to repair an underground cable but it's low priority and will only get done when resources are available. (I know from within Openreach that the job was closed down months ago and that the job was to install a new pole, nothing to do with underground cables)
