For Fibre AND unlimited 24/7 calls ?
NOT "significantly" cheaper and certainly NOT in the long run
I would say that, unless TT do not offer you what you want - you should stay put....

No - Sorry, I didn't make it clear.

I don't get unlimited 24/7 calls, just the regular off-peak calls (and international calls).

It works out about half price for the first 12 months, but as you say after that it will then work out more expensive (unless I move every 12/18 months).

I am possibly moving TO TT Residential fibre (from TT Business ADSL)
    - If they ever get a problem with keeping my existing phone number sorted !!

I've never had an issue with regards to the network and fibre services. They have been great.

The only issues I have had are with Customer Service - which is one of the worst (although I believe EE and BT rank lower).

My line went faulty 13 months ago. They provided a temporary repair (eventually) that is left in a vulnerable state and consequently keeps failing. That of course is actually down to Openreach. Where they fall down is that they just accept what open reach tell them, don't take ownership of anything, push you from pillar to post and generally don't take my complaints serious. What makes it worse is that I have nearly 40 years experience working in Telco and Media companies so firstly know when I'm being bull$4!tt3d to and secondly know what a bad customer experience they are putting me through.

Tesco currently £15.40 line rental, £2 unlimited b/b. all calls extra. this may change, due to talktalk takeover!

Might as well go with TT over Tesco then, as although TT line rental is £16.70, their unlimited BB (SimplyBroadband) is free.

That is only a 12month deal on an 18 month contract though
