And I do have a 19yo son lol

We are quite a distance from the cabinet though so I don't know what we will get. I struggle to get 3Mb/s at the mo

Yes, 20GB will definitely not be enough.

I'm not a particularly high user of streaming or downloads etc, but I use over 100GB each month.

I guess with the £210 cashback,it's still cheap. I just hope they get the fibre in before the deal stops

However, I checked my topcashback this morning and it was £210 CB.
Just checked now (although the site is VERY slow) and it said up to £202 :S

I do hope they haven't quickly changed it!

But then I guess you shouldn't rely on it anyway as TCB can be very sketchy.

EDIT: Now the homepage is saying "BT: £181.80". This is rather strange as I probably won't order it if there isn't £200 + CB. However, it appears it's just the homepage. Logged out and searched for BT, and it shows the £210 again :)

For anyone who wants to know the math:

38Mb Unlimited Fibre + Basic Phone Package + BT TV: £23 / month.
    Line rental: £16.99 / month

    TOTAL MONTHLY: £39.99
    TOTAL 12 MONTHS: £479.88

    Minus £125 Sainsbury's voucher: £354.88
    Minus £210 Cashback: £144.88
Plus £49 set up fee: £193.88

    TOTAL OVER 12 MONTHS: £193.88.

Looks like the Sainsbury's voucher has reduced to £100 now

I believe the only commitment is the 12 months. My plan is to possibly move to BT and then at the end of the 12 months move back to TT and claim the cashback / gift voucher offer at the time.

My only reason to think twice is that I will lose the £5/month fibre for life and free international calls for life with TalkTalk - that I would never be able to get back again.

    £5 for life ?
As far as I was aware - it is £5 per month for the first 12 months - on a 18 month contract ?

I have two 'For life' offers on my account - They stay permanently unless I leave TalkTalk.

They are Fibre Medium @ £5 and Free International Calls.

I don't believe these are available anymore to new customers.

Why are you looking for a new deal then ?
Surely - if you have virtually free fibre for life - you should stick with it - for life ?

I'm paying £7.25 + £16.70 line rental = £23.95 per month. Other companies including BT and Plusnet still work out significantly cheaper when taking into account their signup deals/cashback.

For Fibre AND unlimited 24/7 calls ?
NOT "significantly" cheaper and certainly NOT in the long run
I would say that, unless TT do not offer you what you want - you should stay put....
