ooo, craftingmad, well done again! I don't know how you find the time in your busy life! Those craft kits sound very tempting ....... no no no - I'm in recovery too!
Good work Pixie.
I forgot to mention a couple of weeks ago I refashioned the remains of a duvet cover (I'd made a big bag for lego from it many moons ago) into 2 replacement liners for my laundry bin. Although they are functional, I actually mismeasured and they're a bit on the neat side. So that's another 2 items.
In between projects, I'm using up more wool oddments making a crochet blanket. I can't remember who posted the link to the pattern "Emily's Roses", but it is lovely. I confess I have bought white wool for the background. So far I have 9 squares done (about 8" each); just need to go and rake out more wool for the roses now.
So I'm counting 11 to my total (2 laundry liners & 9 crochet squares).Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Another 3 to declare for me. I'm desperately trying to make a bit of new sock for my next craft fair as the bits I already have to sell I feel I have had for ages so I quickly knocked up some decorated-light packs (3 sets each containing 4 t-lights).
These are really simple - just 1 and a half inch circles of patterned paper with a hole in the middle which slide over the wick and decorate the t-light. The packaging has to have warning about removing the paper before lighting but I think they would make a nice little teacher gifts. All made from my existing stash
Well done greentiger on the laundry liners and I love the idea of a lego bag. My son always leaves bricks lying everywhere and boy do they hurt your feet when you tread on them!
Pixiedust - bet your cards were lovely

Yes, Pixie, I can! Lovely cards for [STRIKE]sewer [/STRIKE]person who enjoys sewing (don't like the term 'sewist'). And little bags, or are the tablet covers? You've been busy.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400

I am still plugging away creating items and using up my stash. There was one slip up when a skien of yarn that I had been admiring for a long time came on sale so I treated myself
Aside from that I am crocheting a blanket and a shawl as well as knitting some toy animals for my DS. I may make another set of bunting to finish off the last of the cotton that is sitting unused and give it as a gift to friends.
As soon as I have used up a ball I will updateTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
:j That is another ball of the cotton finished :j
Yarn count so far - 1 ball usedTaking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
Another partial ball of yarn left the house today because my DS thought it would look better after bathing in my coffee :rotfl: There was only a few grams left but still counts.
Yarn total - 2 balls used so far.
I also managed to resist the Drops Cotton sale as I am determined to clear more of my stash.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
I've been quiet but I have not been idle, my friends. No pics but I have made loads of cards including two 'special' ones, some fabric zipped and drawstring bags for various people and 25 christmas type crackers but Halloween themed for a party we will be going to.
all using stash. I have had to buy a die, some blank cards and a reel of cotton but I hope I shall be forgiven for these minor aberrations
