Oh Dear failed again today
Nipped in a Charity shop ( I know I know) Saw 2x the same Wallis jumper dresses in a thin knit but different colours 1 a very nice Green and the other in a lovely Heather colour. Still tagged at £39.99 each
Tried one on and it looked really nice and very me.So got both for the princely sum of £6.98 :eek: Really pleased with them and will get a lot of wear out of them as well.
Trouble is neither will go with my new Red boots :rotfl:So will have to keep looking

I failed as well today. I bought some new running tights, a running bra and two thermal running tops. I wouldn't say I needed them, but I thought they might inspire me to run... Tomorrow.
Total now £50.50/£300. I earned £10 on eBay this week, so not too bad but I must try harder really.

Well I must fess up to some sales shopping today, came home with a shirt from Zara (new collection) and a tshirt, joggers from Hollister (although did have £20 voucher from my birthday) and a suit jacket from oasis, down from £70 to £15 but they didn't have the trousers in my size so it might go back as if I can't find the trousers elsewhere as it could turn into a false economy.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Eve in all, I have spent £30 of my budget. I have decided to record it in my journal and will update my signature later. I got a dress and some shoes in the sale. I have yet to try the dress on, I am looking at it at the moment and not feeling thrilled with it, it may have to go back. I must remind myself to choose more carefully. It is a bit of a waste of time buying and then returning.
I have decided that for every item bought, the same number needs to go on eBay. I find listing on eBay a bit of a chore, so hopefully that will help to curb my clothes shopping habit.
Keep up the good work

Darwins_mum YS won't help but I soemtimes find an item I'm not thrilled with off the hanger looks a million times better on. One of my very fav dresses is something I wouldn't have looked at twice on the hanger but I saw someone trying it on and it looked lovely ...so I bought one too lol!Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thanks for that Kerri gt, I guess I am questioning the wisdom of 15% of my budget going on something that doesn't tick all of my boxes. I don't want it to end up slung in the back of the wardrobe after a couple of wears which is what tends to happen in these cases. I am working on shopping mindfully, obviously it is still an ongoing process.Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task

I tried shopping mindfully last weekend, took back a pink dress which was nice but had been reduced further oline and the store wouldnt let me just return and buy back the one I had. I then bought a black dress elsewhere, justifying it with 'well at least I'll have something suitable if I have any funerals this year(I had 6 last year so not entirely off the wall but a bit extreme for justification.) as it happens I'll prob wear it to a family dinner in feb anyway

Well, I have looked temptation in the face and walked away.
Cashmere. M&S. Half price and now with buy one get one half price. Into my online basket they went, almost checked out, then thought I'd wait a bit. Sleep on it even.
So I did. And I did not cave in. Budget still intact. Success.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
