I am going out today to buy socks which are desperately needed. Sports socks and welly boot socks so I hopefully can wear my very expensive wellies painlessly. I will keep chanting that I won't be tempted by anything else.Spend less now, work less later.0

Arghhh my sister has just given me £5 off voucher to use in H&M which is only my fav shop so will use that to buy new joggers and a black tshirt.
New look have emailed me a 20% off voucher code which will go towards a new black bag I looked at yesterday.
Oh forgot to say yesterday that I did pop into matalan and there sale items started at £3.50!! It was mostly summer stuff but still they had loads.
The big test will be next week when I get paid.
But in the meantime I have loads to sell in facebook etc.
Hope everyone had a good weekend and enjoying their Sunday xFinally debt free and loving it!0 -

Well I went for my 'big shop' to buy work clothes (will be working in a very upmarket place, and I have been at home in my skinny jeans for ages, so no suitable clothes at all!). I spent £255 - all sale prices, I got two pairs of trousers, two skirts, and five tops, which would have been over £500 full price, so I am pleased. Everything mixes and matches, so I should be set for a while now. Might have to get a few spring/summer things later in the year, and possibly shoes. At least I will be earning .... !Enjoying the power and freedom of letting things go.
Decluttering - January 2024 - 89 physical objects, over 700 emails/digital decluttering 🎊 🏅🏅0 -

I've gone a whole week without buying clothes - in spite of having been to several Charity Shops during the course of the week. Nothing short of a miracle for me. I've got some stuff ending on eBay today - one of which is the last "bad - talked into it by a friend" purchase I made - I've already broke even with an hour to go - which has pleased me.Shifting my energy for 20200

Hi It went fine thanks and got there on time for once. You will be fine doing the 10k I find the 1st 1k is the hardest then you just keep going
We ended up doing 12k as it is club training run but its all hill and track so its hard going and really muddy to boot
If it is road running 10K is honestly not hard if you are doing 5k anyway. Just enjoy it and take your time (and save yourself for the hills if there is a few steep ones )
My 3rd outdoor run ever was over 10k and if i can do it you and your brother can too:D
Good luck x

Seems like there's a few runners on here atm, I did a 5k obstacle course last year (really enjoyed it and got a good time, would've been better had there not been queues at some of the obstacles :mad). Running a bit again now after xmas, 3miles today so getting better.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Sedge123 - I've been really disappointed by FatFace sale this year
we usually buy Christmas/Birthday presents for my uncles and aunt from there but nothing this time
Serendipitious - I do that a lot add things to my online basket then go away think about it and decide against buying.
Still no purchases... but... I am going to buy some work out tops tomorrow, I've decided tomorrow is gym joining day! eek!
My new favourite thing is to shop my own wardrobe. I saw it on blogs "shop my stash" they go into their make up and find things they've not used in a while get them out and try them again. That's my new thing if I haven't worn it in ages get it back out try it see if I can make it work, if not ebay.
I solved my red boot crisis Sat night this way, I wore black Jeggings, a black vest top, and a jacket that I'd stashed away till summer... it workedand my Alexander McQueen boots got their 3rd outing...
