Hi
Thanks for all your support,
I might have a turn of events as i have basically kicked !!! today.
I rang the natwest cru again todaythey are still saying the same , goto wait for letter within 3wks then accept??? i explained agin i have accepted and it was a full and final.
I demanded to speak to a line manager who again read from her script, i explained the natwest website states for cases where you have accepted full and final your case wont be revisited.
So how did i fall int the havent accepted catch?
I explained again the money was for my last part of my fertility treatment and i have paid over 2 grand and that the near on 2 grand i was due is my payment for the rest. No joy but lots of sympathy.
So i tried the last thing i could thin and demanded the chief exe hotline and address,
They gave me a number for scotland, i called and when my call was announced i was put through to a lady in london who was shocked at the treatment of people like myself, she clarified i am not ment to wait three weeks for a letter as i have accepted. She is investigating what has gone wrong and asked for my acct details and ha proised a call back by 3pm, She left me holding while she confirmed that i was CORRECT and the cru was wrong in what they were doing.
So fingers crossed i will actually get my money in my acct as offered.
Then i can get back to injecting my belly!?!?#JusticeForGrenfell0 -

Hi Toni, just to say how shocked i am at the way natwest have treated you,if they have received your signed agreement then surely they would be breaking the terms of the agreement.Goodluck,i hope you can get back to concentrating on your ivf without worrying about the money! Bev0

I have had the same treatment at the hands of RBS and a girl from customer relations in Edinburgh hung up on me this morning as she couldnt deal with my questions. I wasn't rude or abrupt merely asked how they could justify this as my offer was accepted and posted off on 26/07/07. Really desperate for the money and have been told the same. Any help with this would be appreciated. Told me claims prior to the 23/07/07 are the only ones being honoured. Glad you got on so well and good luck!Hi

According to your previous posts you have given two dates of sending off your offer and your offer was apparently dated 19/07/07 in which case the bank will honour this.
Have you had a letter from the bank to say they won't be paying this? If you have then you have an arguement against the bank but until you are told you won't be paid then you don't have an arguement. How long did the the letter with the offer tell you it would take from receipt of your letter, if that date has passed then you have reason to complain again.0 -
Hi shamrock,to quote from natwests website :"offers which have already been made to customers will be honoured if the customer chooses to accept".If you look at Toniq's post "381" above there is a link there to natwests webpage, you can read what they have to say for yourself.0

My offer letter was dated 19/07/07 but I received it on the 26/06/07 and returned it in the SAE on that day. I wasnt supposed to receive it until 27/07/07 which is why I accidently put that date. RBS have not sent any correspondence other than the offer letter and have told me only claims prior to the 23/07/07 are being processed. I will have to wait 3 weeks until a renewed format letter comes out although I will get my offer when that is signed and returned. I was only told by telephone that it would be in my account within 10 days and not in the offer letter. It states payment direct to bank account when bank actions the offer. Bit confused by it all and annoyed. thanks for replying!Edinburghlass wrote: »According to your previous posts you have given two dates of sending off your offer and your offer was apparently dated 19/07/07 in which case the bank will honour this.

But why if you like myself have accepted a full and final settlement are they doing this?
im still waiting for the lady to call to tell me where i stand,
If i have no joy i have a full scaled assault planned, which includes letters to chief exec, papers anybody and everybody , i have paid out 2grand for my treatment which will fail unless i get the monies i was assured.
I will also bill them for my treatment cycle if it collpses because of them defaulting, i have it in writing that the money would be in my acct in 7 - 10 days.

I think its just stalling tactics again. I dont think staff are communicating properly either as it depends on who you speak to what answer you get. I was also told to add on the extra £300 charges accrued to my Offer of £727 at bottom of letter so these could be included in the final figure without starting a new claim as they prefer to do this at same time. Ive been told that these will now be treated seperately. Let me know how you get on:rolleyes:But why if you like myself have accepted a full and final settlement are they doing this?
