Its up to you but if you do wait the 6/7 weeks NatWest will make an offer of your full claim, you can of course phone or write to them during this time and ask how your claim is progressing. Many people have been successful by biding their time with NatWest.0 -
Hi, I have not been on here for a while, but I wanted to let you know don't give up with the bank, I only sent two letters on the second letter I got a reply back saying it would take up to 6 to 7 weeks for them to get back to me I just left it and with in two weeks they written to me on the saturday morning offering me nearly all of my money back it was only the interest that was short so I sent the reply back and and with in the week they had put the money straight in to my account and kept my account open, I did not have to threaten court or nothing and it feels good, so anyone starting out hang in there, thanks for all eveyones help and advice, juliebro.0

HI,
I have spoken with the team at Boreham Wood and they have said to me that they have supplied there final offer. I am claiming £3726 and they have offered me £2,870. This was back in March and I have declined and sent 2 further letters since and followed up with phone calls but no joy.
They have now told me that this is there final offer.
Should I now proceed with the court action. Will I get the full amount? Many thanks.

Okey Dokey folks,
Just had a letter through this morning off Cobbetts (im up to the defence stage) and they have wrote pages of mumbo jumbo etc.
The jist of it is they want me to list everything and tell them why I feel the charges are incorrect for each charge and they are trying the old CPR Part 18 trick:
1) This request is served pursuant to CPR Part 18 alternatively with regard to CPR Rule 27.2(3)
2) The reason(s) why this has been served are set out in the Defence which has been served by the Defendant.
3) You are asked to provide a response to this request in accordance with CPR Part 18 by 23 July 2007
4) If you are unable to provide a response by this date then you are asked to contact the Defendant's solicitors promptly and tell them when you will be able to provide a response.
5) In the even that you do not provide an adequate response to this request by this date (or such other date as may be agreed with the Defendant's solicitors) then the Defendant can apply to the court for an order requiring you to provide the information requested or (in view of the deficiencies in the way that the claim is Pleaded) an order striking out the claim(s)
Then they are requesting I send in the account details and each charge and reason for each charge.
Then (if that wasnt enough) they want me to explain per charge why I am contending it!
oh and then they are asking me to specifiy all of the facts of the unfair terms in consumer contract regulation of 1999.

Any template I could just blast back to them to get them off my back?

Ok Sent this back to Cobbetts not had anything back, did receive a letter from Northampton court who stated they will transfer through to local court and the questionaire bit is crossed out so guess I will have to sit tight and wait.

I'm at the first stage, I have sent the tenner and they have sent me charges that relate to March 2001 to Sept 2002.
But nothing else, I'm not sure what to do next, if there is anymore charges to follow, that was about three weeks ago.
Should I send another letter or should I take it thats it and carry on.0 -
They have 40 days to provide the information and they do send this out in batches so you need to wait until that time is up and then complain to the ICO should you not have the 6 years information.0
